My grandson loves it, it's loud and flashy, good athletes, good stunts, good acting, the place is clean, good bathrooms, fair prices on admission and concessions, they try hard to keep it family friendly, the staff is friendly and helpful
Loved the show. Took my 9-year-old daughter to her first wrestling match and she totally enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend it to anybody interested in professional wrestling. Very family friendly. Keep up the good work and your fans will continue to show up.
It was an awesome night at Ohio Valley wrestling for the nightmare cup 2020. Legacy of brutality was defending their title and lost. Here are some videos and photos from November 7th 2020 at Ohio Valley wrestling. Lots of really good action photos and some videos. I took my pops and he got to meet Dan Severn. Pops is really getting up in age so Mr Dan Severn walked up and shook his hand where we were sitting at. I think that's the biggest smile on my pops face that I've seen on him since my mother passed away May 25th 2020. All in all it was a great night got to watch some of my friends wrestle. And got to meet a lot of the new faces of wrestling at Ohio Valley wrestling. And the smile on pops face was priceless. That was the best part of the whole night. Thank you Ohio Valley wrestling for making my family night with my pops an awesome experience. Thank you Hy Zaya my brother.
Lots of great talent. People were very respectful to their fans/spectators. If you love wrestling, you should support this promotion.
Me and the boys always have a good time when we go to Ohio Valley wrestling. I know these guys don't get paid the big bucks but they get out there and bust their you know what to put on a good show for the fans. And a lot of times we get an opportunity to take pictures with those guys and I think them for every second that they take out their day to give photos to me for my voice.
Great show. Tight production and VERY engaging entertainment. Loved it.
For those who don't want to read further... this is the best "bang for buck" entertainment to be found in Louisville! If you're an "old school" wrestling fan, this is your spot! For Details... While I will start out by saying that I am not a wrestling fan per se, I used to enjoy it up until the early 2000's. Now, a few friends had convinced me to go to the WWE Monday Night RAW event last week and I took them up on it. While I have no comment as to the quality of the performances they were all good, I will say that the production in and of itself was lack luster in person and better enjoyed on TV. While at the event, my friend brought up his enjoyment of Ohio Valley Wrestling OVW and said that I should give it a try... so I did. What a difference in the amount of fun I had! The production, wrestlers, and story lines were akin to the ones I grew up with during the hay-day of WWF/WWE! The crowd was engaged, the staff were great, and the concession stand pricing was more affordable than I expected! From beginning to end, I thoroughly enjoyed my evening! I can honestly say that the $20 or so I spent admission and concession stand snacks was the best $20 I have spent in a long time! The staff were unrushed and friendly, the venue was awesome, and the talent were friendly and approachable! I will be regularly attending OVW as the value for the level of entertainment I received can't be beat! In closing, this is what pro wrestling is meant to be. Loud, over the top fun at a fair price! OVW is still doing it the right way. Their passion for what they do was on full display and any pro wrestling fan who remembers the 80's and 90's as "the good ol' days" will have a great time! Congrats to OVW, you've won a new fan!!!
Great environment. Awesome matches! The wrestlers give 100% in every match. I have never seen anyone “take a night off” of just half step through a match. The wrestlers have a true passion for the business as do the announcers and referees. Which results in Great shows night after night.
I went to see a wrestling show with one of my kids. The show started on time and was very entertaining. A great value for the money. We have been to several shows and will go back again.
Fun place for the whole family! We went tonight. Adults were $7 & kids were free. Snack bar had pretty good prices. $1 popcorn, $1 pickle, $2 pizza, $1 can cokes. I’m not really into wrestling. But this is fun to watch! Everyone does a great job! Mapquest and google maps directed me to a spot in the middle of Shepherdsville road. If this happens to you look for the LED building. It’s a building that sells lights. When u see that building turn into that parking lot. It’s behind the LED building.
