Other reviews mention this but I didn't believe it... Nothing was solved by going here. PA-C Samuel Christensen was unable to do anything but repeat what I have found online easily. Dismissive of my concerns and lecturing rather than having a dialogue about medical issues. I waited several months for this appt with the expectation I was seeing a Doctor with specialty but was sadly let down. Don't go here unless you already know what is wrong and you have your treatment plan already decided. Waste of $150 dollars and my time.
Been there once and so far I can say they earn their rating . The doctor almost completely ignored why I went in and just went with what he wanted to do. One issue I went in with was my ear is clogged with wax from ear plugs. He looked and told me my ear is clogged with wax and to take care of it. Got a new PCP. He's the opposite of how I felt the first day. So I'm updating my rating to 4 stars instead of 1.
Made an appointment to be seen for cortisone shots in my foot for plantar fasciitis. They are booked very far out, waited almost 4 weeks for the appointment, only to find out after I was already checked in that I was booked somehow for internal medicine and that specific doctor “doesn’t do cortisone shots”. Extremely disappointed. I spend the last 4 weeks in pain, hoping I would be helped and find relieve today only to be told I needed to reschedule and wait another 2.5 weeks for the next appointment. I’ve been coming to this clinic for quite some time, I i usually see doctor crane and he’s fantastic, when he is available :
I just had my new patient appt with Dr Prakash Kesavan. He and the entire office staff were very friendly and quick. I got a flu shot, a blood draw, and the standard tests. It was a good experience.
I see Dr. Unterseher and I think he is great. The first reason, he is ALWAYS on time for appointments. I've even been late a few times, but he was waiting when I got there. He gives me options and he even checks back in about things we've talked about at previous appointments. He seems very thorough and pretty patient with me. He also responds to messages very quickly. Another thing, MacKenzie, who I believe is his MA, is amazing. If he doesn't respond quickly, before I've even thought about it again, she will. If I'm being referred somewhere else she sends all the info, and she's always so pleasant. I've yet to have a bad experience with this office.
I'm going to start by saying I really do like Dr. Crane. He is a fantastic physician, BUT I am extremely unhappy with his office staff. I have only had two appointments with him in the last two years because they keep cancelling my appointments that I make a month out. They continuously send me to urgent care instead of their clinic. Sometimes I wonder why I have a primary doctor. And on top of not being able to see my doctor. He told me he could write me my prescription whenever I ran out for my shingles, well I have a flare up and this is day three of constant calling and rudeness from Rebecca not the receptionist about it. The pharmacy has called to try to fix it and gets not response back either. How can you write my simple, normal, in my chart, prescription wrong THREE times!! So here I am with shingles and was promised two days ago they would fix it and promised tonight they would fix it, but it isn't fix. How can someone be so incompetent that they can't write the right prescription?
The only reason I decided to see a doctor at this clinic was because it was close to my home. I moved here in December of 2017. The only reason I started going here was because I needed a new GP that was closer to me. But coming here was really a blessing. All of the staff here know me, and it’s apparent how much each and every person I know there cares about me and their other patients. They put a lot of effort into making every patient feel comfortable, and ensuring that they get the care they need, whatever it may be. I can honestly say I’ve never met a group of clinicians that was more professional, more caring, or more compassionate than these folk.
I would give 0 stars if I could. Dr. Unterseher is dismissive, rude and generally should not see people for a living. I came in with a list of symptoms and he said we only have time to cover one symptom per appointment. He also sent me out of his office saying he had no idea and nothing he can recommend. Dr. Crane is great but never available. OHSU is a money hungry business that doesn’t care about people. Find another healthcare provider before wasting your time and money.
I will have to agree with the fact it's not easy to find. I started seeing Dr Unterseher as my PCP. I was able to get in right away which surprised me since I was a new patient. Wonderful doctor. He was so personable and took his time and was extremely thorough. I was searching for a PCP that could also help me out with my depression. That can get complicated trust me. So when I needed to do my follow up appointment COVID-19 hit and so I was offered to do a phone visit. Boy I was all for that. It's a long drive for me to his office. The gals in his office are so sweet, polite and prompt. Well I figured since this was going to be a phone call visit it would be just 15 minutes no more no way. Well that wasn't the case this wonderful doctor took his time with me and never made me feel rushed. So I'm really saddened by all the bad reviews I've read because I just can't say enough good things about my care and visits. It's truly a blessing when you find a doctor as good as Dr Unterseher. I highly recommend him
Selected them as my new primary care facility, Dr. Videos in particular. I made an appointment, and filled out the paperwork ahead of time. I had a hard time finding their facility, as a result, I was three minutes late. I went into the office, the receptionist was very detailed in checking my insurance, checking all my papers, checking me in. After all that, she told me that the doctor would not see me today because I was not there 30 minutes ahead of my appointment time. She said that Dr. Videos requires new patients to be there 30 minutes ahead of their appointment. Well, perhaps that would have been handy to know BEFORE the appointment. I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of customer service I received today. Cannot recommend these folks at all based on what I have just experienced. I am equally dissatisfied in OHSU a a whole because they did not address this situation in the least. Even the receptionist seemed a bit ticked off that the doctor was acting that way. It seems to me, today when healthcare providers are fighting for every dollar they can get, a situation like this would warrant at least a phone call to investigate. Oh wait, the office DID call to ask if I wanted to reschedule. That's the only thing they asked. They did not even ask about anything else. OK. I've since moved on and found an excellent practice that I love.
