Okanagan Regional Library, Rutland Branch

I love this library - more than the bigger downtown Kelowna one. It's smaller, has less stuff, but the community is nice and the staff are amazing. Plus you can order anything here anyway and the parking is better. Side note. You need to go to save on if you need to use the washroom though - important to know if you've got kids.

Great community library. Welcoming atmosphere. I bring my grandson to the Toddler Storytime. He enjoys it very much. The instructor is very engaging.

Great for kids. Very helpful. Let's keep our libraries alive teach our children and grandchildren about how to read an actual book. The library always reminds me of a safe quiet place to go on a hot day that is quiet helpful doesn't cost anything and very informative. Great place for kids to meet and have a great time interacting with each other can read a book together or alone or can go to have a book read to them if that's what they prefer. You may want to see if there is a play or craft time that kids can get together with each other on a specific day or time of each week or month. Staff is very friendly knowledgeable and fun to interact with. Just treat them with respect and they will return the favor.

I like the convenience of the library location. The set up is very nice with reading areas set out for various age groups. There is a good selection of books for both me and my grandchildren. The story time for youngsters on Friday mornings is one if my granddaughter's favourite activities. Staff are friendly and helpful any time I have questions.

Really small, hard to concentrate if there are people even just whispering; because it's a small space you can hear everything. Employees are not very friendly or helpful. It's a very old Library. The books, movies, books on cd, etc, are all older, nothing current. Though the actual location IS fairly new, it used to be a few doors down, my opinion is that they didn't do a great job of making a nice, peaceful library people want to go to. I'd rather drive 15-20 minutes and go to a different Branch.

Great library my whole family enjoy it. Lots of books and other media to choose from and if they dont have it they will try to find it and get it shipped. In the summer they have tones of reading activities for kids includingKids Summer Reading Club! Staff always helpful and friendly. The new renovations are awsome and love the meeting rooms.

I love this library. I think its nice and small which is good for a library. Lots of my favourite books.... I've never really gotten help but whatever small is good.

So Nice to Have OUR Rutland Branch Back in the Hood! It's one of our fav hangout spots even if its just to pickup some flicks to go!
