First time however not last time visitor today... Awesome place to read, study, use a computer or laptop too! Their staff are great! There's a guy behind the information desk that literally will show you the book section you're asking about without even searching the computer database! That is a plus in my book! There book section is huge, bathroom was descent nothing to brag about. Their dvd section is large in my opinion. All around their atmosphere is great. Five stars all the way. Please don't hesitate to visit this branch library, I highly recommend. Thank you.
Very nice & clean library. However, I try to use this place to study I am a graduate student and it seems like every time I come here, people - both patrons and staff - TALK TOO LOUD and no staff ever tell them to please lower their voices. Isn't a library supposed to be a quiet place to concentrate and study? While there are a couple of study rooms, if they are occupied, I'm out of luck finding a quiet place to study at this library, in my experience.
Dear Branch Manager, As a public service employee and former volunteer of my neighborhood library I am very aware of the customer service expectation when working with the public. Unfortunately, the customer service experience I endured on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at appapproximately 10am left me considering the inconvenience of utilizing a different library branch. My family and I entered the children's area so that I could use the computer. I asked one of the two ladies sitting at the Children's desk if I could print using one of the computers in the children's area. The lady at the desk in informed me that I would need to use one of the computers in the adult area since the computers in the children's area are for those 18 and under. I turned around and gestured toward my one year old son that was with me and explained to her that I would like to be able to monitor my son while I'm using the computer in the library. She then suggested that I go to the adult area to check out a laptop and bring it back over to the children's area. My son's father and I sufficed to have him sit with my son in the children's area while I use the computer in the adult area. As my son played in the children's area - with the videos - one of the ladies remarked to my son's father that it may be a better idea to have him play with the books and the toys that have been designated for children so that the materials he was playing with don't have to be rearranged once we leave. As a public service worker and a former volunteer of the public library I understand the necessity of making concession for patrons. I would like this employee to consider such accommodations - especially when working with the children of our community. We felt unwelcome and disservice with her remarks and her less-than-accommodating attitude.
Absolutely no library etiquette . At times it is like standing on a busy street ctreet corner. Otherwise the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. The facility is very clean and well organized If I want to do serious studying, I have to use a private roo m. The library is invaluable , just needs minor atmosphere tweaking
A wonderful place where I have had many happy experiences. Every book I have requested they have acquired for me to borrow, either from the stacks there or through interlibrary loan. They renew my books automatically now, having noticed that I need more than the three weeks allotted. The library is a lovely building with adjacent pond and grove of trees where you can sit for a while and read. There is plenty of parking. It is an important resource for the neighborhood.
cayla is an absolute delight! : love coming here because of her. she’s excellent to have an intellectual conversation with, and is generally warm and on top of things.
I have found the people at the front to be helpful and friendly. Unfortunately there are two men who work at the back - info and computers who are just rude. What a shame because their job is to help those people with computer problems but time and again, I have heard these two men one worse than the other being sarcastic to those people asking questions and not at all helpful. They make the users uncomfortable which leads to not learning. Strange that these guys are hired to help when helping is not what they want. I go there and hear it almost every time I'm there - not directed at me but to those with questions. What a shame.
Do not need a membership to use the facility : It's a big and popular library but they always seem to have plenty of room to spread out and work. Never had issues with noise or rude people.
Is really nice place for table work ,clean and organized.
It had a clean bathroom! Public bathrooms are usually nasty. The guy at the info center was kind enough to help me break a $20, so I could print something out.
