Established in 1972, the Okinawan Karate School relocated to a larger facility in 2010. This was necessary due to the deterioration of its west Pittsfield location, to allow for an expansion in space and programs. Now, the ZenQuest Martial Arts Center, the school is continuing a long tradition of providing high quality martial arts in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts. Classes at the new facility include Uechi-Ryu Karate, Demian Maia Jiu-jitsu, Sityodtong Muay Thai, Boxing, Self-defense, Wrestling and Mixed Martial Arts!! ZenQuest also features a strength and conditioning room, and seminars with leading martial arts Masters from around the world.
