We purchased a beautiful 3 bedroom ranch home from Green Acres. Monty and the staff treated us with respect and kindness throughout the entire process. Their knowledge and expertise helped us find answers to our questions about the build. They encouraged us to take our time, think about different options and solutions in our planning. We visited their site often to walk through the homes, take pictures, review sample materials and ask more questions. Our phone calls were returned. At our request, Monty and all of our contractors met with us on our build site to talk about the logistics of the build, who would be responsible for what, etc. That helped so much. When the house arrived, the movers and crews set it and had the house together and roofed in two days. The finishing crews were awesome. Friendly people who let us see the progress, most likely interrupting them and ask more questions. Our walk through at it’s finish gave us the opportunity to point out our concerns and our expectations. It was all taken care of. I want to especially thank Cheryl for taking all of my calls. She is someone who continues to help when I call. We were and are so glad that we chose Green Acres. We recommend them as often as we can. Please consider checking them out.
We love our Green Acres Home! We purchased one of their model homes in Milford & the layout is perfect for our family! Their customer service has been very good.
Hello all.....as the song goes Green Acres is the place to be...come meet some good honest people & visit their model homes. We did & we bought a beautiful 1800 square foot home. Blessings to all, Ken & Gail Naumann
Green Acres was a great experience for us. When we were looking around at different homes we looked at a Green Acres home and knew that was the one we wanted. It had everything we wanted and the upgrades were a bonus.
I can one hundred percent agree with the other single star review. Our relationship with these guys started out really good as they woul regularly call and schedule time with us to plan the house over the course of about 2 years. But it seemed like as soon as we put down a down payment and went forward with the house that the phones suddenly quit working. I had to basically beg to get my final blueprints so that I could order and begin digging the basement. And then I was not left with much time and they ended up blaming missed deadlines on me even though their crews decided to wait till right after a wet/rainy snow storm to come so they ended up leaving mud and ruts all over the yard. Their workmanship was very pour, and then when I contacted their boss about our conserns he was only willing to come up and look if we would pay him for the rest of the project I purposely withheld about 1.5% due to the direction I saw our relationship going. It has now been a year-and-a-half since the house was set and things are still not finished the way they should be. It has been about six months since I've even heard from them. They lie about a lot of things so I would recommend taking extensive notes because they will promise you everything, but will then tell you that you are in the wrong when things don't come the way you wanted. I was really hoping the relationship would go better as I was actually planning on building a second home with them but after the sh*t show that the first one ended up being I would not touch these guys with a 10' stick. At first I thought it was me being extra hard on them as I use to do construction and have high standards, but I have since talked to a couple other people who bought from these guys and they all had very similar stories. I really do hope that these were fluke situation, but best of luck to you.
Very disappointed with the service and quality of the house we purchased. Nothing is done in a timely manner. Very poor communication from everyone. Lots of things unfinished, no time frame for when it will get done. The people they sent won't fix certain things because they don't think it needs to be done. All the outlets are letting in cold air. Plumbing wasn't installed correctly in the house itself so we've had leaks in the walls. I've already turned people away from going here but if you are going to do it ask tons of questions and write down everything that they say. They will say lots of things to get the sale but don't back it up once it's all said and done. I recommend going elsewhere.
I had a great experience with Steve and Monte with the purchase of our new home. What I learned though is I needed to ask more questions and verified things a little bit more so that my other contractors bids would have been as accurate as Green Acres. You can trust these guys will do a quality job and stand behind there product as they say they will.
Green Acres really goes above and beyond when helping you find a house. My boyfriend and I met with Laura and she took the time to sit down with us and fully go through all the paperwork so we understood what everything was. She took the time to explain what things meant or what we needed to do to get done. Overall loved our experience, would recommend to anyone, and hopefully will be using them again in the future!
Since nothing ever goes perfectly when building a new home, we experienced some small issues after receiving our modular house from Green Acres. The difference this time from prior construction, however, is that everything...and I do mean EVERYTHING...was fixed to our satisfaction. I'm not sure Green Acres knows how to say no. I would highly recommend them to anyone thinking about a modular. I've had family members who purchased a modular and were not happy with the results -- but they didn't go to Green Acres. We would do this again in a heartbeat.
We met with Steve Pritts regarding purchasing a new home. He took the time to make sure we received all the information necessary to make an informed decision. The company focuses on quality and enhancing the customer experience for one of the largest investments we will be making. We plan on returning to Green Acres Homes to purchase in the next few years. Thank you Steve!
