OKWIL is for Oklahoma’s female hospitality professionals and offers an opportunity to gain career momentum through mentoring, education and networking.
OKWIL was founded in November 2011 by the Oklahoma Hotel & Lodging Association and was adopted through a national program founded in 2005 by the American Hotel & Lodging Association. WIL currently has over 20 chapters and 2,000 members nationwide. Any AH&LA WIL member is eligible to be an OKWIL member, and membership includes Oklahoma’s female hospitality professionals.

Women In Lodging's Mission Statement/Objective
To act as a catalyst to 1) increase communications and awareness among professional women in the lodging industry to enable the personal and professional development of women with strategies and actions focused on removing barriers and providing solutions, and 2) to foster the development of women to obtain leadership competencies that contribute to the achievement of overall career growth. The council provides an effective forum for women to develop skills, relationships, and experience that enable individuals to grow.
