Family owned for over 30 years
On October 2, 1978, three brothers, Donald, Richard and Gerald, realized their dream when they opened the doors to Old Country Tile. The brothers carried on a family tradition of artistry that started in Italy with their father and his two brothers, who immigrated to the United States in the early part of the 20th Century. They became part of this countey's history, working on such notable projects as the Holland and Lincoln Tunnels, and the pool at the prestigous West Point Academy.
Prior to opening Old Country Tile, Richard was a tile setter and union delegate, while Don and Jerry working in distribution. Their hard work and attention to customer's needs helped them grow as a company, and in 1985 their second location opened in Port Jefferson was born.
The brothers have passed along their "recipe for success" to their children and grandchildren who continue to run both stores with the same pride and dedication that was taught to them.
The family and staff of Old Country Tile are committed to go the extra mile for each and every customer, since they are the reason for our success.
We hope that you will visit us soon so that we cane make your dream a reality too.
