We picked a good day to go. 40% off everything sale. I never shop here but we were able to find a nice work uniform for my daughter. Store was clean. Cashier seemed more worried about the things going on around him rather than focusing on us.
Been around for years, known for low prices but the clothing doesn't seem to last long especially once washed.
Probably some of the best products around caw caw! However..... the cashiers are absolutely atrocious. I get it's retail and it's min wage blah blah blah, that's no reason to treat me like I don't exist on the register caw caw. At least put the people with no personality on stock instead in front of people caw caw. Store was well zoned but I do not like were the changing rooms are, they're directly in the middle of the store, I felt like I had no privacy at all when trying clothing on caw caw.
Went in looking for a gift someone in my family had mentioned and the staff were rude, not helpful, and I left and took my business elsewhere and found what I was after and found it cheaper
Today, December 14, 2022, I attempted to return two pairs of men's jeans to Old Navy in New Hartford, NY. The jeans were ordered on October 30, 2022 and received on November 3, 2022. They were for my husband and didn't fit at all. The quality of the jeans was actually not great. My return my denied because Old Navy has started a 30-day return policy, and it's 30 days from your order date, not the received date. I was clearly surprised that the store wouldn't take back the merchandise that was still in it's original packaging with all tags. It was also implied that because the jeans are an online exclusive that the store most definitely wouldn't have taken the return. I left the jeans at the counter and left the store. I am very disappointed in this policy and have vowed not to shop at Old Navy again.
I bought two pairs of linen pants that from the store that fit beautifully when I tried them on. I went home and washed both pairs as I always do with new clothing. I wore one of the pants and within a few hours they started stretching and I constantly had to keep readjusting the tie to keep them up. By the end of the day they were so baggy and sliding down I cannot wear them. I went to the store and explained the situation and was told once they are worn they will not take them back. I’m not sure how I would know they would be falling off me by the end of the day without wearing them but … okay. So I basically handed old navy money to give them a paycheck as I am out two pairs of pants. Just maybe I can help the next person as I do not believe old navy will have any interest or concern in this review. They’ve already got their money.
Store was packed with stuff, none of which I would buy. Old Navy has gone down hill in the quality of their clothes and the styles are strictly preteen and teen. I miss the normal low/mid rise boot cut jeans and standard perfect fit tees. Fabrics are cheap and pill easily. I will not be shopping in the store for sure. Staff could care less. One girl at the front that did my online return was very nice and tried to help me find things but no luck. The online things I ordered were online only items. I always wore xl or XXL before but now only some items fit. There was a great light hooded puffer coat. Could not get it zipped up and the arms were too tight with a tank top on. Ridiculous!
Great sale was going on. Got what I needed and more for a fraction of the price. Rewards program is sad, though. I have to spend $25 to save $10. Should be more like other stores. I throw my $10 coupons out because I won't be forced to spend money on a coupon that I had to spend to earn.
Staff is friendly and helpful. For some reason , whenever I purchase merchandise with rewards and have to make a return, I am never refunded the points and lose money. I would be better off donating things i need to return, rather than return them to the store and get nothing back.
Better off shopping online. The selection in store is pitiful and they don’t even have half of the deals that appear online. The organization is poor and half of the time you have to search hardcore for a particular size.
