It's a bit off the road but the only place that allows tent camping. Was really nice 15$ a night bathrooms were pretty clean, and people there were very friendly . Great place to camp before the mothman festival.
Just stayed here this week, super friendly owners, private campground and it’s pretty close to stores. We were the only campers on the property for our one night stay but that just made it that much more peaceful.
Love this place, real quiet and out of the way! Best place to view the stars !
No signs to get there. They advertise having a shop, but it's just the main office, which is just a kitchen. Completely unmaintained. Hiking trails advertised online are completely overgrown with miscellaneous junk lining them. Fishing pond's deck is absolutely destroyed. Arcade was locked as long as we were there. They didn't lie about the pool. Paid for 3 nights and left after one. Huge disappointment.
They are no longer in bussiness, their phones are even disconnected.
Stayed there 7/7/18, real friendly there, I called in for a last minute stay over night and the lady took us in with our tents. The price was great the lowest I could find in a last minute afford. My kids loved the pool they got to play in and to top it off they had fireworks last night.
We stayed there two nights. Peaceful and quite. It's a few miles outside town, its well worth the drive and experience. Stayed during the mothman festival. Very cool and spooky with the full moon out. Plenty of room for our rented 30' RV. Hookup for power and water is good. Very decent price for each night. Campground has a pool and decent showers and bathrooms. Management was very sweet and helpful. Can buy firewood and ice at main office. Will plan on going back next year. Highly recommend for those new to the RV scene as we were.
Wonderful place to bring the family and meet up with friends. They have everything you can think of. Fishing swimming camping. Highly recommend
We arrived at 11:30p after a long drive from Indiana even though no one was around when we arrived we set up and they welcomed us in the am. Very friendly, clean campground and overall great experience! We will be back!
I would've given this place 4 stars if I hadn't been woken to gun shots at 3am. Other than that the place is beautiful, $15 to camp and they have a inground pool. The shower house is old but works.
