What a great experience for all ages. I got to enjoy a story called Dracula revamped that included the thing from the Blue lagoon, Dracula, a werewolf and of course Frankenstein's monster. What a wonderful show! And awesome people!Wait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$11–15
This place is run by an incredibly talented, kind and friendly man, builder/storyteller/educater/tour guide. Really been at his craft for a long time and tho small it's packed with beautiful art and stories and puppets children will love. 10 stars out of 5. Really. Most wonderful puppet master I've ever met
Such unique experience, touring the puppet museum! The museum's hosts were very friendly and informative. If you find yourself in the Sellwood neighborhood, I'd recommend checking out this hidden gem!
Loved the museum, so many cute and cool puppets, and so much history. The owner there is so sweet and knowledgeable. He has lots of great stories! Really great museum that me and my boyfriend enjoyed. Free but donations accepted. Definitely coming back for the next exhibit/redecoration.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitPrice for adult entryFree
The gentleman was wildly passionate about puppets, which made the entire experience
if you're a creative, you'll love this place. It will feel like home to you. Steve and Marty are warm and welcoming, they own the museum. Their knowledge, expertise, and worldly experience will definitely have you intrigued, if not taking a class!
Wow is all I can say! This place is amazing. I am SO looking forward to seeing some of the shows they put on. Thank you for your time today. My daughter and I had a very nice time talking to you.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitPrice for adult entryFree
I think my friend and I spent over 2 hours talking and listening to Steven. Amazing puppets from all around the world. It was so great to have one on one with him. He's absolutely fascinating to listen to. He even explained where the puppets were from and each ones history. Also he showed us the different techniques and materials used. Hoping to go back soon and be able to volunteer.
Wonderful place to visit. Marty and Steve are doing their best to meet all the demands of COVID and the City of Portland. Just stay tuned.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
