We started with Bruschetta & limencello Strawberry mixed drinks that were better than any other we’ve had in town. We were given fresh dinner rolls with our salads while the main course was prepared.. I had crusted chicken with penne and my man had salmon w/sweet potato- both were cooked to perfection. Eventhough I was full, we shared caramel cheesecake & an amaretto dessert that had just enough sweetness. The live pianist was a pleasure to listen to as well. We will be back!
Sat outside enjoyed a beautiful Florida day. Food was great! Huge portions. Had the onion rings which were beer battered fresh crunchy and delicious; with a yummy homemade dipping sauce. The burger was outstanding, great flavor cooked perfectly, Philly Cheese Steak delicious and HUGE! Service was excellent, server was very pleasant attentive and informative. Can’t wait to try breakfast!
If I could rate this as a negative number I would have. We went for breakfast and it was the worst I have had in all my time here in Florida. We were seated right away and then waited quite a while for our waitress to offer drinks. We waited once a again to be able to order. After waiting for quite a long while our drinks were empty for a bit of time and our food arrived. Don't bother with adding peppers or onions to your omelet. They were not cooked at all and the cook stated that is how they make it. For our table of 4, two omelets were retuned due to the the raw veggies. 10/10 do not recommend.
Server was great, but that was the end of the good part. Came with large group and for a show and was asked to arrive early. Entire group showed up early. Took 90 minutes to even take our food order while other groups that came in well after we did were finished eating before we even got our food. Soup & ribs were cold. Will not go back regardless of who the performer is.
Tortilla chips in nachos were stale. Server did take them off the bill. Overall food was just mediocre. I was wondering why the parking lot was virtually empty every time we went by. Now I know. Sadly, I really wanted this place to thrive. Unless they make changes, they won’t. Note: As I expected after looking at other negative reviews, they are unable to take any criticism whatsoever. Maybe you should’ve taken the money that you spent on the robotic busser, that is very annoying by the way, and invested elsewhere. While I appreciate you changing the menu because it definitely needed updated. the other items we had were not good. The fish and chips and the cod sandwich were over cooked, my husband salad came out with the appetizer instead of the timing being paced. He never even had a chance to eat it because then the meal came out. For the record, I was the one that suggested we try you again even though the last time we were there a couple months ago, we were not impressed either. . And yes, I do want the restaurant to succeed. It’s nice to see mom and Pop places make it over and above the franchises. But as I note other restaurants, thriving in the middle of July, at 6 o’clock in the evening, yours is not. Just stating a fact. I patiently wait for your scathing response.
Update! As you can all see I was trying to extend and Olive Branch and offered to give the servers a free chance to learn a few tricks. I thought I was being thoughtful trying to help a locally owned business. Obviously the owner didn’t feel the same. His attitude towards customers and constructive criticism reflects in his reviews. It’s like one of those owners on a Gordon Ramsey show. Its a shame really because it used to be a welcoming restaurant, with owners who were nice to people. I wish you all the luck but I don’t see this restaurant making it another 3 years. I’ve been a server for 40 years. I realize that new servers are taught how particular restaurant operates, but not necessarily the ins and outs of good service. No judgment, but I would like to offer your servers a free course where I could teach them some tips and tricks to make their job easier and therefore give better service. As I said, I will do it for free just contact me.
I think this restaurant would be better if they updated to fresher ingredients, less quantity. I had an omelet it was oversized too greasy lacked the ingredients I ordered, toast was cheap bread slathered with greasy butter. Fruit tasted like chemical cleaner from the dishwasher. Overall I wouldn't return.Food: 2/5
I am only posting a reply in FB MESSENGER from Austin's that I got after I made some comments about his establishment. Owner is a bit nasty and decided to harass me in private so y'all couldn't see his real side. Oh yeah, and and after he sent his lovely message to me in my messenger, he blocked me on FB so I couldn't reply back. I've heard other complaints but this was unreal to be harassed on your private site and then be blocked by the perpetrator. Here are his comments back to me from Austin's: "What is your problem? The lobster we serve is as real I compared cold water vs. real as it gets and, of course, it'll cost more in a restaurant setting. If you don't like the music or our restaurant then go somewhere else. Go buy a lobster and prepare it yourself or go ahead and tell us which restaurant sells two 8oz Lobster Tails for less than our price. Just realized you're the same person who always complains about prices. You know, Denny's and Perkins are options or try a food truck because they don't have nearly the overhead. We employ dozens of people and Twin Tails might employ 4 or 5. I complained about prices ONCE before about a year ago."
Clean place with ave to above average food, and good meeting rooms. Under new ownership.. Very attentive wait staff. New owners have a nice menu.Service: 4/5
I can understand that with the impact of Covid it is hard to run a restaurant, as you can see from a few of the reviews, but don't give up on this restaurant. We enjoyed our recent visit with good service and food. Go early on a weekday. When they aren't overwhelmed.
