Upfront it looks like a spray park with a small area for kids to play while water is splashing from all sides, but when you start the trail it goes around the open workout area and miles long cycling and walking trail. There are multiple benches with two sets of shaded group benches for family and friends gathering at spray park area. The parking costs $5 till sunset, no minimum but a pre set price of $5. The neighborhood is quite with abundant greenery.
Great Splash pad. Closed during the winter. Parking isn't super e extensive. As far as I can tell it mostly just a splash pad. There us now a gate around the areA and access to 2 bathroom. 2 Pavillions and two benches inside the splash pad. And in the summer on Fridays. there is a cap there. All in all great splash pad.
Update: they fenced in the splash area Well thought out and very fun splash pad for kids! Love the interactive buttons, large shaded picnic areas, play areas, clean restroomswith changing table, and connection to trails! Great addition to the community and well worth the wait! Thanks Oldsmar!
Tons of fun for young kids. There are two pavilion/shelters there that we could not figure out how to rent for a party, and the park website said the splash pad was not available to be reserved, and no info about the shelters, so we assumed it was first come first serve. Turns out you CAN reserve a shelter, but have to go to the park community center to do it. They only reserve one of them at a time, which is good, but it's a terrible way of doing it.
Great little spot for the kids to cool off. They might seem closed at first as the water only pumps when you push the start button. That last 15 minutes until you need to push the button to start it again.
Great spot to take your young kids to get out of the house. It's always kept clean and taken care up. Could use a bit more shade in the spray area, but our kids still love it.
People that goes here are usually very arrogant and stuck up for no reason. But you will find some parents that are very good people. Becareful with the alligator slide your kids can get hurt my did and wasn't pretty and the blue mat in front of the alligator slide be super careful running on top of it if your gonna play chase your kiddo I fell and slipped on it and ya haha it sucked a little bit. Playground: Totally kid friendly with definitely parents supervision Restrooms: Super clean, I appreciate the cleanness. Dog-friendliness: It would dog friendly if your dog is not super hyper acting and very controllable and super ok with Kids being kids. The grass area is not that big for a big dog and to your own judgement if it's even big enough for a medium sized dog but I would say it would be a perfect to good environment for a small size dog for sure. Picnic area: They have a girl that is usually very dirty, so bring something to clean it or aluminum foil works to buy you still might want to clean in side so ... Yes.. they have a grill and it's public grill so everything and anything goes and everyone is able to use it. The picnic area is some what clean and definitely kid friendly and it's pretty good
Awesome splash pad for littles under 5. They added a gate around the pad giving parents peace of mind and can actually sit down and enjoy watching! : highly underrated! Thank you to the state entities that funded this.
What a discovery! Awesome small spray park, has alot of shade, picnic tables, a little walking trail! I love it!!!! Awesome place to take younger kids and just hang out. Edit: Be careful do not let your kids run, and do not let your kids slide down the alligator slide face first! My son accidentally fell, broke his teeth and gums!
Been coming here to walk this park since I was a kid! Super cute and might need updates from time to time but I see friendly families going to this park often as I bike ride in the trail connected to it.
