I would like to thank the team for doing such a good job on winning the champions chip best day ever
Sad that we're having a bad drought. Park is in need of watering. Soon it'll start looking like Derby Days just ended. A dust bowl.
Our favorite park in coalinga, almost always has kids to play with. I wish the bathrooms were open, but there are gasstations near by that you can use for that. You just have to pause playing to go there.
I've lived in Coalinga since 2007. There's been a ton of great memories at this park to say the very least. Anything from live bands, shows, birthday parties, bounce houses, slip and slides. Even the annual horned toad derby which draws hundreds of people each year. I'm sure this park will be here for many more years to come! They also have plenty of picnic tables, room to run around for the kids and a baseball field complete with a concession stand. The city does a pretty good job keeping it up. The neighbors keep an eye out.
It was nice, not that many people, its quietcand piceful there isn't enough trees for shade. The playground isn't broken which is good. before school starts there is a fair with for and rides and also a race with some type of frogs and if you want you can buy a ticket and if your frog wins you can get free food but only one thing though.
It's a nice park. It has barbecue pits, including deep put barbequre's. It has a very nice play ground for the kids and horse shoe pits for the adults. This is where they have the Horned Road Derby every year in May.
What do the gardeners do?? This place was green. Green weeds growing and green trees and gopher holes like crazy. And someone plant some trees over the children's play area. No shade over it and cut up tires to walk on that ate very hot from direct sun.
Had a family gathering nice
It is a grassy, tree filled city park sometime used for family events and the annual community get together. One public restroom. OK as a stop for pass through traffic, not a destination stop.
I grew up here park has seen better days was very disappointed to see how run down this little town looked.
