Olympia Lanes

The best bowling alleys in Hammond and one of the best in Indiana. Staff is friendly and the proshop is knowledgeable. The lanes rarely if ever break down and they have plenty of leagues to join. And during the weekdays the prices are good.

Went for a night out with my sister, brother in law and cousin. We had a really good time. It's a very nice bowling alley. I really liked the lanes and score boards. I will definitely go back!

This is a great place to visit. The prices are good for bowling, food, and drinks! They have police working during the evenings which makes our visits feel safer!

If one wants to know what its like to bowl on a 'pro-lane', then you must visit Olympia Lanes in Hammond Indiana!! Honestly the lanes were perfect, better than any bowling alley I've been to! One of my account reps was begging me to bowl at Olympia and I'm glad he bugged me because, Olympia defines bowling! Friendly crowd with a staff that is always happy to help! The pro shop has everything you could ever need with a knowledgeable staff to boot. The food and dining area is FANTASTIC! Good pizza and a deli, yes a deli! Be sure to set aside an hour or two because its worth it if you like to bowl! The game room has cool pinball and video games as well. All in all it was a great experience and I will surely be coming back often! Thanks Olympia Lanes for your continued devotion to the game of bowling!!! People that love the game of bowling truly appreciate your efforts!

If it wasn’t for her I would give 5 stars she is a bartender and My nights at the bowling alley would be great if she wasn’t there. She’s rude and gives off a bad vibe. Ive became a regular and she still IDs me. I understand BUUUTTT she doesnt ID any of the other white people and that’s definitely not ok. She needs to be fired. She would play nothing but country music knowing the diversity in the bowling ally/pool like come on. We come and pay out money faithfully to the store why can’t their be a mixture of cultural music? I’m making sure everytime she’s there “Fake bartending” i won’t be there.

Had birthday reservations for 6pm. We got there 10 mins early and games didn't start till 6:15. Reservations came with pizza and pitchers, we didn't receive anything till we had to go up to ask for it at 7:30. Bad experience, snappy customer service. Very nit-picky about only 1 adult lane. As if kids don't need help on their own 3 lanes.

Fantastic bowling alley. I took my son with the intent to have him try out bowling and buy his 1st ball/bag if he liked it. We were there during a league. There were lanes available for open bowl. The alley was alive with activity. The cafe area was clean and the staff inside was friendly. Prices are what you expect from a cafe inside a bowling alley. The bowling alley itself was clean including the restroom and the staff was helpful and pleasant. They have automatic bumpers that come up only for the bowlers that you set them to come up for and go down when the next bowler is up, making it nice for bowlers who don't need or want the bumpers to bowl with younger ones that need them. They have a small arcade area that we didn't go into. I glanced in on my way past the room. It was small but have an assortment of games to play. They also, of course, have a crane game. There was also a small vending area with your typical snack fare and a couple of soda machines. The pro shop: They were super friendly. They got my 10 year old, who is strange about people he doesn't know touching him, set up with a bowling ball with ease. The gentleman there was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, Olympia Lanes is a great bowling alley. And I would highly recommend Olympia Lanes to all bowlers.
