Never had an issue with them until I noticed that a magic pen w/a notebook was not the price I saw on the sticker. The manager that day refused to give me the price that the sticker showed. Very unprofessional in my opinion. Her laugh and talking to employees about it was even more unprofessional. Obviously the customers are going to go by the price on the sticker/stand. How are we going to know that the price changed. We don’t work there. How could you still laugh at the customer who you said “well the price changed” all while taking the sticker off the stand. Smh
First time today, this store is CLEAN, organized, and the clothes and shoes I looked through are in excellent condition!! The staff was very friendly as well. I bought a good amount and will be back Don’t listen to these people leaving bad reviews- they probably didn’t even shop! Not sure why so many are whining about their clothes not getting sold, they can’t buy it all y’all!
Poor customer service, brought in a tote full of nice clothes instead of looking them up on they’re computer, they steady talking to one another and I end up walking out with most of the clothes I took in. If the Manger Jordan would done her job like she was supposed to instead talking to her helper about logging into her old Snapchat account and talking about starting a YouTube channel!! Maybe more of my clothes I brought in could’ve went to a better home!!
First time went in today and my husband and I love it! Found nice clothing for our expecting baby. Will definitely be back. The cashier was real friendly too. Thank you!
Staff are friendly, store is well kept & if you’re shopping, the prices are decent. However, I brought in a large bag full of never worn beautiful kids clotheswith tags along with 5 pairs of shoes & was offered $27 for all of it….I know I could easily get $10 for each pair of shoes alone. A terrible offer in my opinion, so I took my items back. A nice to store to shop in but sell your items elsewhere.
I have attempted to sell clothes to this location twice. The first time i was told the clothes needed to be laundered and flipped the right way in. I did that , I returned and was told the clothes were passed on due to a weed odor which I know is false because I had them tied in a Clorox trash bag since washing and folding them. The person at the counter informed me that they smelled the shoe box when i asked for her to check the clothes she said the same thing. Which means she didn’t check the bag under the top bag nor the rest of the clothes in the bag that have been protected. I also don’t even smoke weed. They made an assumption based on my appearance and decided not to service me. I will be posting this everywhere I can think of to let them know about the racial profiling that happens in your once upon a child stores. I also witnessed them turn away another young black woman. But while I was looking through clothes i was seeing thing with holes and stains. This is most certainly NOT a quality issue.
This place is ridiculous. Called the day before to see what they buy. She told me everything from sizes newborn to size 20 clothes, toys and items. So I brought 2 big toys, 20 pairs of shoes and 2 full bags of clothes. It took them 2 hours to look through my stuff. When I returned they gave me back all my stuff but 2 pieces of clothes and gave me $4. This is soo ridiculous and stupid. How is this store still open. I asked her why they didn't buy more she said all they want right now is baby clothes because they are OVERSTOCKED...LOL. Why not just stop taking items in until you sell items. Way to run a business. I waited 2 hours for $4. Yall lost my business.
I do not like to leave negative reviews for any business. However, today I arrived to pick up my items that did not sell and the money for the ones that did. When I arrived, I wasn’t greeted. I went to the counter to ask where I needed to go, and the young lady pointed to the registers. I proceeded to go the register and she asked my name. I gave her that and showed her my ID. Not too bad, right… Until I go to sign the receipt and she slid it, and a pen across the counter. I picked it up, and placed it back down and held my hand out for the money. At that point, she placed the money down on the counter, while my hand was out. I asked if that is the policy to place customers money on the counter and not in their hands, and she stated no, that’s just what she does… I said no problem, and exited the store. Owners, it is extremely unprofessional for your staff to not greet customers let alone place their money on the counter, especially when their hand is already extended. Please offer some entry level customer service to your staff. As you can see, I did not complain about the amount of money I received, because the issue is not money. Customer service makes customers want to return to your establishment over and over again, or it makes them never want to visit again.
This is the pickiest OUAC I've ever been to and I've sold clothes to the ones in Raleigh/Durham. They won't take anything with LINT on it. I had some new and some older, all name brand, clothes and they wouldn't take anything because it had a couple specks of lint and "pilling" though their determination of pilling is quite severe. I'm sure it's a nice place to shop and the staff was friendly, but their standards for resale are stringent.
I brought in a ton of stuff today I had 3 bags of premie baby clothes most of them had never been worn, some of the ones that was never worn even came from there to begin with, some with tags, none had stains, holes, mildew, or mold on them. The ones he did wear he only wore once. I don’t even think they bothered going through the clothes. Makes no since if y’all need clothes so bad.
