Great place to come to pick out things for your kids. Very helpful staff and always fun atmosphere. I would highly recommend it. Lots of new summer clothes to get to be ready next year and even Halloween costumes as well.
I really like some of the items. Products seem to be improving, but they have so many T&C’s regarding equipment/clothing. I’ve bought an item and ended up not using it - but they wouldn’t accept it when I brought it in to sell. I’ve also brought in really looked after items that were rejected as “too loved”. I think this is because they sometimes rush through this process. I think some improvements would be to have a very clear information board regarding selling ID required, no bags, 30-45 minute wait time etc. There are some very friendly staff members and also less friendly people that make you feel like you are a nuisance. You can sometimes wait long times while the manager trains the staff even if you are waiting to be helped. They have fantastic specials year round! Especially last December when you could buy voucher and get a coupon to spend in store!
Stopped by here for the first time today and was quite impressed with the selection as well as the service. All the items I saw looked almost brand new or only slightly worn. What a wonderful way to reduce waste in the community and save ppl money. I picked up two namebrand barely used snowsuits for my babe today and paid only a fraction of the cost that I would have at the mall.
Disappointed in my first experience here. I brought in a bunch of clothes in bags my hands were full with my newborn and toddler. I told the girl this was my first time selling to once upon a child and she said “well we can’t buy anything today we ran out of budget”. So I turn around and come back the next day. The next lady proceeds to tell me they don’t accept clothes in bags because of wrinkle issues etc. again I have my hands full. So first I’m annoyed that the first girl didn’t say anything about the bags to me when I went in there. Now I go home wash & fold all the clothes pair them up with their matching outfits and come back with them in boxes. Come back later that day they tell me they will buy 49 pieces. I accepted but wish I hadn’t. They didn’t show me the pieces I was buying and was a little intimidated to ask what pieces they were buying as I was shocked at how little they were going to buy in comparison to what I brought in. Coming and looking through the box the clothes were thrown in not folded and matching sets were thrown around. They bought shorts but not the matching top and vice versa and did not tell me. I wish I had of known. Won’t do this again I think I’ll stick to Facebook market place. Just food for thought for anyone else who hasn’t done this before
Brought in very good condition items for twins. Matching outfits, found that they took only 1 set and sent one home. Very frustrating to find that twin parents are not getting the possibility to buy matching outfits second hand. If a twin parent drops off twin outfits, take both if they are in good condition. Also I found they broke up outfits, I got a shirt back without the pants or the pants back without the shirt. Super frustrating to try and deal with the stuff they didn't want. I won't be going there again.
150 dollars for a used bike? Come one! The lady at the store explained the prices are based on what they sell for new and and then mark down from there but prices are not marked based on what the bike cost them probably 20 bucks?that's a huge mark up!!!. You can get a brand new bike at toys r us for 120 bucks. People come to this places because they may not be able to afford brand new.
Awesome place for gently used children’s clothes. Worth checking out. Consignment program is excellent to clear those items you are hanging onto. Helps other parents as well with this great concept of sharing.
Love shopping here. Lots of good quality used kids clothes. I also take my outgrown items and can sell them for a decent price too.
