I've been to this store multiple times to sell items my last visit was terrible. This world is dealing with inflation and the payout was just a slap in the face. On my last visit they took 39 items for $37.xx. These items were new or like new condition. Like new boots worn only a handful of times and baby clothes that was worn like once or new. The baby clothes were mostly 4 piece sets & bodysuits. So got less than a $1 for each item, sell at your own risk. Probably better off selling on marketplace or just giving the items away to someone in need.
I was there earlier today to sell some items including a bassinet. The bassinet was rejected because the warning label was cut off. As I was looking around I came across a bag of Bunchems being sold for $10. Ya'll realize those toys are on a list as dangerous toys. Parents complained that the balls would get stuck not only in a child's hair, but on carpet and pets too. No parents in their right mind would buy Bunchems, especially at $10. What's wrong with you? You won't buy a perfectly good bassinet all because of a missing label. But you're willing to sell a potentially dangerous toy! What's the deal with the ridiculous policy that everything needs to be in an 18 gallon container? Reusable bags are much better. They take up less space and they are not heavy. I didn't see any employees rushing to help me keep the door open while I struggled to bring the container in!
Thank you for doing yalls job not accepting nasty clothes and dealing with parents who think their at either a high end store or at Texas thrift. Ladies and gentlemen appreciate your kids give them the best and dress up your children sometimes your out in a nice outfit and your child wearing rags. This place has got it all to step up your little ones fashion. Now go!
Went in to try to sell being my first time the employee at the register was very short in response and rude in tone when I tried to ask a few follow up questions about the selling process. After checking the reviews of this location and other locations it appears that rude employees may be Once Upon A Child’s workplace culture. Instead of making excuses for your employee’s poor behavior as seen in other various reviews it seems like trainings and discussions for improvement opportunities would go a long way in increasing overall customer satisfaction. Will be going to donate at a goodwill instead.
Very pleased with the quality and selection of their slightly used items. They are always fully stocked and their $1 day sales are amazing! They have a great selection of toddler shoes at very reasonable prices. As a single mother everytime I go I always end up buying so much adorable and inexpensive clothing. Lol. Thank you once upon a child so glad I found yall. Thank you for having a return policy as well. Alot of thrift stores once you purchase you can not return.
I hate to write a bad review but when I go to the same place twice and come in contact with a very unprofessional and rude employee both times, I have to say something! The very first time I went to this store, while checking out an employee named Rosa was complaining out loud, to me, that other people kept coming in to shop and she was upset because as soon as they get caught up more people come. I completely understand being busy is sometimes tough while doing your job, but NEVER do you complain to the costumer about. It made me feel like I was inconveniencing her by being there. Then today I go in and while checking out, my son gently picked up a wooden puzzle that was on display and the same employee, Rosa, told him to “BE CAREFUL!” in a rude and condescending way. My son was doing nothing wrong and an employee should NEVER try to “correct” another person’s child! I really like this store but it makes it hard to go back when things like this happen.
Definitely need customer service and management training. As soon as I was fixing to walk in Jeff Rob stopped me at the door saying they don’t accept bags and can’t take my Walker because they are over stalked. Told them I will be back, went to the dollar store across the street bought two Storage bins came back and the Manager/Key holder Sobby told me that they are not excepting any more bins because they have reached their limit today for being overstaffed. I explain to her then why didn’t you are so she told me that she said I don’t know why he was standing right next to her as I turned him and be like why didn’t you explain that to me that she was food he started stuttering and was like I don’t know it looked like he didn’t know what to do. Then he has audacity to say I don’t know why I didn’t tell you I think I told you and I corrected him said no you did not all you told me was I needed bins because you can’t take bags and then he reply with well I guess we just filled up when he was gone. When I asked for corporate number she has tinted give it to me and then proceeded to say that she doesn’t have it
I've tried to sell clothes here multiple times and I'm told each time that they don't have matching sets and they need to be rewashed and brought back. I've already washed them and there's nothing missing. NOT EVERYTHING HAS A TOP, BOTTOM, AND A JACKET. I waited a whole day for them to waste my time and the guy cashier was acting all goofy and immature.
Loved my experience here! Everything was so organized and easy to find. Ilyza at the front register was so helpful and kind! She was more than helpful. I will definitely be back
One of the best places to go for name brand clothing for babies, toddlers, children and teens. Gently used and even have clothing with the tags still on them. Shoes, socks, toys etc.
