Came here on a Friday, our party had 8 and we were seated in like 20 minutes. The servers were really attentive, food came out in a speedy manner, and drinks were excellent. The stand out for me was the drinks and the aesthetics of the dishes. Little more expensive but definitely worth a visitFood: 5/5
Came here for happy hour with a friend and everything exceeded expectation. Ordered the fried chicken and shrimp bao buns, Asian fried rice, a blushing gimlet, punch 19, and overnight celebrity and everything was stellar. The bartender was super friendly, attentive, and overall a great time. Will definitely be coming back!Food: 5/5
Running review: New Chef, new flavorful dishes. Sat at the bar without reservation, had the Thai Fried Chicken with Cornbread, the spicy was well offset by the sweet. Nice glasses of wine available, attentive staff, friendly bar guests. Open for inside, takeaway and delivery now, easy access to entrance, bar and dining areas. Had the 1/2 Chicken main & Cauli BBQ dishes, very flavorful.
Our waitress was amazing. She apologized for the delay in us receiving our drinks. Management on the other had was not so amazing. We were told they were open til 10. Several people from our party arrived at 9 and was told they could not come up since it was crowded. There was only 2 parties up there. The party i was with and another. The kitchen was close which was fine. They said there had been some discrepancies with the time. They were not accommodating at all even with the time discrepancies. We were celebrating a birthday. We just wanted them to be allowed in until we were leaving even if they couldn’t order food.
I'm shocked by the positive reviews for this place, maybe I caught them on an off day. That said, yeeeesh. My experience: We made a reservation ahead of time for their patio. When we arrive, there's no host at the desk. We wander around aimlessly trying to find somebody to help get us seated or find the patio. The only employee in sight was the bartender, who was busy tending to a small event on the main floor. Eventually we find some stairs, go on up, and find an employee hanging out. I ask for help and say we couldn't find a host. He apologizes and says they're short staffed and that we can sit anywhere and "I'll bring you some waters...I guess". You guess? Is this not a restaurant, should we leave? First, we sat down and the table wasn't wiped down, they were gritty and filthy. We waited quite a while before we got water, and even longer for a server. Keep in mind, this isn't a busy environment by any means. The entire patio was empty - just us and one other table, and the event downstairs really was quite small. I order a bottle of wine to avoid needing frequent help getting drinks. We order an appetizer a few bao. The server brings them up on a single plate with nothing else - we have no napkins, no silverware, no additional plates. The bao were admittedly tasty, if not a little cold. I imagine they sat there for a while before our server got to them. The rest of the meal flows similarly. The Korean fried chicken dish was damn good, but was unfortunately not my order. I got the "Wagyu" burger, medium-rare, which had the texture of a frozen patty at a backyard 4th of July BBQ see photo. Overall: This place has a very clear management problem. The staff were kind and friendly, this was not incompetence or malice. They were confused, disorganized, and spread too thin.
Great food, great service, creative menu options. I had the fried rice as an appetizer and 111 Signature burger and it was delicious I went on Wednesday and Happy Hour was all evening so the price was great! Attentive staff & great drinks! I love this place! You should go!Food: 5/5
We were visiting from out of town and we stumbled upon this place on Instagram and decided to make a reservation. We had made a reservation which you pay to do for what they call the "main dining room", however, when we arrived we were told to sit at a high top table by the bar. We didn't mind the change. We then waited 20 minutes to be attended. Since we didn't know if we had to order at the bar considering it was happy hour still, we politely went to ask the hostess about this. She assured us someone would help us soon. Immediately after, she goes up to another employee and begins to mock us for asking for help. We waited another 10 minutes and no one attended us.The staff was extremely unprofessional and rude per other reviews. We ended up leaving. It sucks that we didn't get to try the food as it looked great.
I don’t really know what this place is, it’s kind of confusing and low key. But the food is amazing, I’m super super happy with finding this place. Scallops were cooked to perfection. Has a few different areas with different vibes and seems like some of them get booked out sometimes.
Tried to make a reservation here for my birthday, when I went to the website they only offered reservations for parties of 6 or fewer. So I go to the "events and large parties" section and tried to make my reservation there, the only option it gave me was to contact the restaurant to inquire about a large party or event. Ok, so I emailed them asking how I can make a reservation, nobody ever responded to me. I called the restaurant 6 different times over a 2 day span and no one ever answered the phone and their "mailbox was full". Super disappointed in the lack of service and responsibility.
Randomly chose this place for dinner because they had availability on Tock $10 ea deposit. Our server was very kind and friendly. Unfortunately it took a bit over 1hr for any food to reach our table. Dishes were hit and miss; the brussel sprouts were good, pasta was OK, the Asian fried rice was laughable tiny volume, rice was dry and clumpy, and pork belly is generally not served dry in texture in my experience. Cornbread was great, chicken was dry. Drinks were a decent value at happy hour prices but are unremarkable in flavor or body. Bill ended up being about $135 for three for the experience, before tip. There are better options in the immediate area...
