Oneida City Park

Caught plenty of little fish and released off the right dock. If you stand in the shadow of the little roof you can see about 50 fish at a time of you come at the right time. Park itself is enjoyable too, with ducks and geese that will out your hand. It's in a good areait is by a train, though. 3 sets of park equipment, 2-3 gazebos, 2 docks, a mile long track highschool cross country utilizes this, a little workout area, a basketball court, tennis court, a baseball field, and a splash pad are some of the most prominent activities.

Oneida city park is a very large scenic park. With a beautiful walking track and landscaping.

New to the area and was interested in discovering some new scenery and trails to walk my dog and this place is absolutely beautiful! The staff at this park were very helpful and there are many pavilions you could rent for events. The pond is very nice and all the well-groomed blacktop trails were great for walking my dog but would also be great for jogging with biking. From an outsider looking in, Scott County and Oneida City Park is definitely a best kept secret in Northeast Tennessee!

Took our two year old granddaughter to play at one of several playgrounds but wound up playing on the splash pad. We had a great time. The park is very clean and well maintained!!!!

Great outdoor place. Excellent playground equipment for children. It also has an Inclusive play area for children with special assistance needs. Great picnic areas with grills and there are also gazebos for party rentals. Beautiful walking trails, soccer fields and amphitheater. There is a huge pond/lake for dropping a small boat or casting a line into. Bring along some bird feed for the ducks. Also kids and adults can enjoy a recently installed SPLASH PAD for keeping cool during the summer months. Enjoy!

My grandbabies love going there and spending the day because they have so many different things to do and they love the ducks they love walking out on the docks I encourage anyone that likes the outdoors to spend some time at all night Park

Love this park! So well maintained; incredibly so for such a small community. Staff are friendly and always busy. We are truly blessed to have this. Christmas in the Park is absolutely amazing. They start in October and work non-stop putting this together for us. It's beautiful.

Very pleasant park. Restrooms were closed due to Covid19, but we had a relaxing lunch at a shaded picnic table with the water, geese, and beautiful sky before us. My youngest was excited to see a train pass by while we were there. Peaceful and open spaces.

It's a great place to take your kids, It has a good walking track as well. They also have Christmas light displays during the Holiday season.

A very nice and beautiful park located in Oneida TN. Great for all ages. Has a splash pad and plenty of play areas for the kids. A lot of covered pick nick areas. Walking trail and a shallow lake for fishing. No drugs or alcohol permitted on property. Safe area for kids and the whole family. Highly recommend. Had a family reunion there today 6/29/19 7/31/19 Here again today. Nice partly cloudy day but very warm. Brought our granddaughter here to let her play. Took a bunch of new pics to add to Google Maps. Updated park hours of opening and closing. Park is a very beautiful and peaceful place for the whole family to enjoy. It's kept very clean and restrooms are always clean and have toilet paper stocked. The staff here do an awesome job to say the least. They are always friendly and willing to help if you need them. Park has on-property security for everyone's protection. NO FIREARMS ALLOWED ANYWHERE ON PROPERTY of course unless you are a police officer, which I think is the best way to ensure the safety of everyone at the park. Call 911 if you have any emergency. The offer many covered pick nick shelters which are free to use at any time the Park is open. There's also bigger shelters throughout the park available for a small fee to use for large gatherings such as birthday party, family reunion, weddings, etc. Call ahead for reservations and availability of the shelters. There's a fenced in basketball court, tennis court, and baseball / softball field. Shallow lake is open for fishing and small boats. No gas engines are allowed tho. Splash Pad for use beside the office. Kids and grown ups have a great time here. No pets allowed in this area and is a no smoking, no tobacco area. Very nice and well maintained play areas for the kids. Swings, slides, "monkey bars" are all here. No smoking or tobacco use in and around the play areas. They're really trying to keep children safe and sound here. At the end of the park is the paved walking trail. It's very beautiful and has some pretty scenery. A lot of people use this trail and enjoy it. The park has a number of scenic areas that are great for pictures. Also I should mention that there's no alcohol or drugs please. We are very lucky to have Oneida City Park in this area. Everyone is welcome. Come on over and enjoy the beautiful and peaceful park.
