The Oneida Police Department is a modern, progressive, full service law enforcement agency consisting of a Chief of Police, Assistant Chief, Lieutenant, two Sergeants, one Detective Sergeant, 12 Patrol Officers consisting of one K-9 Officer, a Community Resource Officer, a School Liaison and D.A.R.E. Officer, six Dispatchers-including a Dispatch Supervisor, one Office Manager and one Administrative Assistant. Through teamwork and involvement, our community is a safer place to live, work, and play. Leadership provided by members of the Police Department increases community involvement and the prevention of criminal activity. As an organization, we will achieve a level of excellence making our department one that citizens will be proud of.
The Oneida Police Department serves the community, within the Oneida reservation, by helping build a stronger, safer community through police protection and service while instilling a sense of unity and treating all with respect, dignity, and compassion.
