We stayed here after an $80 express deal from Priceline. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The hotel itself was very dilapidated. There is carpet coming up in the hallways, we had some mold and leaking water stains in the hallway sink, and when we let our 10mo old twins crawl on the ground in our room, they were covered in black. Not sure from what but they were dirty. We also found dead insects on the floor. The couch in the room was cracking and torn in several places. Overall, for the price we paid, it met the need but I wouldn’t personally recommend staying here until the rooms are updated. I would rate it more like a 2 star hotel as the 3.5 stars it is listed as. Again, the staff was very courteous.
This place is a complete dump. Looks extremely shabby, rooms are dirty, furniture is ratty. Everything about it walking down the hallways screams neglect. First room I was in was dirty and the chair at the desk didn't function properly. Then I discovered the toilet was clogged and nonfunctional so I went to ask for another room. This room was also dirty, had a loud and annoying whistling sound constantly from the air conditioning outside, and had the chair pictured which looked like the pulled it out of a dumpster. The only good thing I can say about this place is that they refunded my money when I refused to stay there. This was literally the worst hotel I've ever seen. It's supposed to be 3 stars but in reality it's less than 1. Any motel 6 is much better than this.
I stayed here 1 night last week 6/24/20 and yes the hotel is being remodeled and it's noticeable from the exterior. However I found my stay here rather pleasant , the room was clean , i liked the interior decor, the room was large for just a one bed room. But the most important aspect of my stay is that i was able to get a good night's rest with no noise from the exterior or adjacent rooms. I've stayed in many hotel rooms during this pandemic and in every room i stay i can hear the guests in the adjacent rooms but not in this one, that's because the guests were spread out through out the hotel.
We had a good New Year's eve and Party. Dinner and dance was good. The bars were horribly ran. They struggled serving their customers. And they decided to change everything in the middle of the evening. So we stood in line to buy mixed drinks and beers for 35 minutes, only to be told that now we had to stand at the other bar for beers. The hotel was a little run down and needed a lot of work on the outside back patio. Pieces of insulation were laying on the floor and walkways.The room was clean and the bathroom area was extremely small for a woman to get ready. I bought the Gold package that came with a King size bed, buffet dinner and dance. We did not get the king size bed that was promised in our package. Over all we made the best of it and will give them another chance to get it right.
None of the amenities listed are available. The "back" building is disgusting, they have no business putting customers there. The elevator room smells like urine and cigarette smoke. The hallway had stains on top of stains and smelled horrendous, like dog farts and old bologna. Right out front of our room looked like someone vomited over and over again. Knobs to open windows were broken. We were there for 3 nights and after the 1st night demand a room that was cleaner and didn't have to walk through that disgusting hallway to get to. We ended up in a room in the front and it didn't smell, much cleaner. Still had issues, like the window not closing, we had to take the screen off to close it. I wouldn't recommend staying here, and to the owners: you should be ashamed of yourselves.
The inside was beautiful and the staff was very nice. As soon as we walked down the hall way to our room in smells like mildew,I’m assuming it’s the carpets. Room was nice looking but it’s old and dirty. Blankets and sheets weren’t washed and were stained! Stains on the toilet seat. Who would want to sit on a stained toilet seat ? Hair all over the bed .... just yucky. I understand your under new management but you have no problem taking our money as you know your hotel is yuck ? Not professional. It has so much potential but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. If your planning on staying here check your rooms and sheets before you unpack.
The room was great except no fridge n my room. They were very nice and gave me some ice since I had food but without an ice chest that left the sink where I needed to wash hands, brush teeth ect. The chair in the room is amazing!! I loved it!!!! The bed was great, very comfy. Room very large. Overall everything was great. My only complaint is the time it is taking to get my deposit back. It has been 2 weeks. The hotel shows they released it back to me, bank says no siree Bob. I just want my $50 back. Otherwise even without a fridge I would have given them a 5. The room was great and the staff is so nice and accommodating. I would stay there again and also recommend this hotel.
Stayed a few days for a hotel convention. I read the reviews beforehand so was a bit skeptical about staying here. Thankfully, most of my expectations were met. This is an old hotel, don't expect a 4-star stay. There is significant wear/tear on the building and no frills service. That said, the room was clean and comfortable and the carpet looked like it have been recently replaced by the feel of the padding. The staff was friendly and courteous. There was a small mini-fridge and a coffee maker. Bed was comfortable, sheets were clean. No Wi-Fi service outside of the lobby however there is a port for a LAN cable. One star deducted for security reasons. The back gate has a tendency not to close correctly and there was a rash of car thefts from the back lot the last night staying there. Otherwise my stay was pleasant enough to merit return business.
We arrived on a Friday night the staff were... Wait I mean Gus was very welcoming and helpful. We then arrived to our room. It was clean however the closet door mirror was broken, I called right away and spoke with Gus who stated he's take care of it. We were there for 2 nights and didn't use the closet to avoid my daughter or I getting cut with the glass. Our heater was not working what's so ever the young lady that I spoke to simply apologize and said we will see what we can do... We were in the same room our full stay ... Over all even there is still construction going on. I figured well could be worst.... Gus thank you for not speaking bad about those who share their experience on here and appreciate the comments as a way for you and your staff to know where this business can improve. I will come back for future stays
The staff was pleasant and that's the only positive I have. I had to change rooms, because the toilet was broken in the first room. Once I changed rooms it was apparent the hotel was old and outdated. The room smelled like mildew. There were stains in the bathtub. The door had a huge gap. There were red stains on the baseboard and the carpet. I barely closed my eyes, because I was afraid to falln asleep. The hotel is in need of an overhaul.
