OPEN: A multidisciplinary research program providing evidence on the quality, outcomes and value of medication management services
Known as OPEN, the Ontario Pharmacy Research Collaboration is a research program providing evidence on the quality, outcomes and value of medication management services provided by pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
OPEN’s team of multidisciplinary researchers are evaluating both current and potentially new pharmacist-led medication management services, while fostering knowledge translation and exchange, building capacity in pharmacy practice and medication management research, and addressing gender-related issues and the needs of the province’s vulnerable populations.
