Ontario Secondary School Dancefest is an annual dance celebration for high school students where they share their original dance choreography and performances with empowering Adjudicators; take workshops; and, network with 500+ participants.
Ontario Secondary School DANCEFEST provides a variety of opportunities for dancers to broaden their knowledge, creativity and experience through sharing, collaboration, performance and educational development. This is materialized through workshops, student choreography, competition, showcase, banquet, awards and observing professional dancers and companies. OSSDF incorporates 10 different dance styles and 3 competitive levels to ensure that each and every student has equal opportunity to thrive. Dancefest is organized by the OSSDF Board of Directors- Jocelyn Bell-Summersby, Laurel Brown, Melissa Lolarga Chiandussi, Debra Kapp, Tara Duffy and Michelle Hillier, in collaboration with Scott Kufske.
