Open Door is a federally qualified health center that provides comprehensive, high-quality medical services to the underserved neighborhoods, individuals, and families of Westchester and Putnam counties. We operate six full-service family medical centers.
Since our beginning in the basement of the First Baptist Church in 1972, our aim has remained constant: to provide high quality health care that’s affordable, accessible, and efficient. As a Federally Qualified Health Center, Open Door provides top-notch health care to those who are hardest to reach, regardless of their ability to pay. Often we serve patients who may not otherwise have access to care – including low income families and individuals without insurance. Thanks to Open Door, more than 51,000 children, adults and families get essential medical attention and support services that would otherwise be beyond their reach.
The mission of Open Door Family Medical Centers is to provide quality health care and human services at affordable prices to the economically disadvantaged.
