My child is starting with balletmet this year and they recommended opening night for his "uniform". They had everything we needed in his size. Staff was pleasant and helpful.
I didn’t get her name but a nice older lady was super helpful. She helped us find the right fit for my daughter and explained a lot.
Great place for pointe shoe fittings, also a very nice selection of dancewear. I'm an adult ballet dancer returning to pointe after many years, and Patty was fantastic. She was fun to talk to and she really took her time and tried a bunch of different shoes to make sure I found my perfect shoe. She never made me feel rushed or pressured me to get a particular shoe, she just wanted me to find the very best shoe for me and she did! I love my new pointe shoes and will definitely be back!
They were very helpful! I needed a flat dance shoe, nothing in particular, and was given several options to try. No pressure to buy or to hurry. They even found me a pair on clearance that turned out to be perfect.
Always great service and they have what I need or can get it for me.

Great and fast service. One person was able to serve me and two other people pretty well. She seemed well versed in multi-tasking. My little sister and step-mom sent me here for jazz shoes. A quick in and out and I am very happy with my purchase.
Really appreciated the thoughtfulness and expertise of the staff. Took my fiancee in to get her some new technique and point shoes as a wedding present. One of the staff, Rose, immediately set out to help her find the right pairs. She spent an 1 1/2 hours trying different brands and sizes, until she was convinced they would serve my fiancee well. The rest of the staff was extremely friendly and encouraging. Highly recommend this place for the high level of professionalism and customer service we experienced.
Updated to three stars: the last couple interactions I’ve had with the staff here have been much more pleasant so I look forward to hopefully having more! I've been shopping at Opening Night at both locations for years and have never once felt like I was welcome in their stores. Their staff follow you around like they suspect you're going to steal something and never take my needs seriously. I've had multiple bad pointe shoe fittings here and I don't think any of their fitters have had any actual training in fitting shoes. If you can, I highly recommend driving elsewhere or shopping online at a store that won't make you feel like a burden.
The staff were friendly and helpful and quickly helped me find the ballet slippers I needed!
