Would not recommend. Like a previous review states, you are sent to one room to wait for a tech, which usually isn't too long of a wait then you're sent to a crowded room with a tv in the back and told the Dr will see you shortly. This second appointment was supposed to be "a quick follow up check" after having a contagious viral eye infection. It turned into an unnecessary 2+ hour wait to see the only Dr there. There was no warning ahead of time that they were so backed up and it appears this is a normal situation there. We were packed in the room, with no available seats once it filled up. After asking one of the techs how much longer, they didn't apologize but "looked up my place in line." They told me 2 more people were ahead of me, even though at that point I had arrived in the office before everyone at that point this is after seeing 5 go through and 10 more enter this overcrowded waiting room. I had another medical appointment so was forced to leave after another 20 minutes of waiting. The receptionist didn't apologize and said I'll have to call back to reschedule, which I certainly won't be doing at this office.
Never having had surgery of any kind, I was more than scared when told I needed cataract surgery. Luckily I was referred to Dr. Feldman. Not only is he an excellent surgeon & doctor he also has a great personality that helped calm and prepare me for my surgery. Post-surgery, I have 20/20 vision once again! I would highly recommend Dr. Feldman and his team to anyone looking The BEST!!!
Good luck getting an appointment. Mine has been cancelled 4 times now. Something major is going on. Doctors keep leaving and cancelling appointments. Stay sway. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Most unprofessional eye clinic I’ve ever been referred to. Denied care because I didn’t have the funds to get to Boston to go to a walk in eye clinic they suggested I go to, saying I “failed to follow doctors orders” so now I am dismissed from further care from this clinic. We entertain these doctors because we are told to trust them just to be let down and not be provided the best care possible.
Appointment was at 1:20pm. Didn’t called in until 2:20pm. Eye tech was quite rude and none of the staff were apologetic about the wait time. It’s 3:07pm and we’re still waiting to be seen by doctor. I completely understand that things are challenging with COVID right now, but they need to fix the system they have in place. Maybe not schedule so many people on the same day? They should make some adjustments so they people aren’t waiting an hour to be seen, and at least he sympathetic to the fact that you’re schedule for the day is pushed back. Tech said we can’t be on our phones due to contamination, so unable to communicate with work. So unhappy with this experience.
The satff at Albany clinic is very professional and caring. They listened to me during the pre-appointment work, and addressed any concerns I had. Dr. Rabady is very thorough and professional, giving me a step by step narrative of each procedure and what to expect. A thoroughly impressive practice!
I love Dr Deere, she is informative, knowledgeable, compassionate and kind. The staff in Clifton Park were efficient and friendly. They have the office set up well so everyone was spaced from each other appropriately. I have always felt that the practice has excellent standards for hygiene and they have taken that to a higher degree with COVID. Tina Palmer in Schenectady is my go to gal for frames and lenses. She is very helpful in selecting frames and knows everything about lenses because of her years of experience as an optician. I didn’t see Dr Rabady on this visit but I wouldn’t go to any other specialist for retinal issues and eye health.
Doctors at the Schodack office are nice, but the receptionists are extremely rude and can rarely help you with your questions. They just give you a phone number to call instead of transferring you. I now call the Albany office if I need something. They are extremely helpful and I don't get put on hold for over 5 minutes.
I give a 5 star because the first time I went I was late due to gps getting me lost and they still kept my appointment when other offices may have made me reschedule. I also didn't have a long time to wait to be seen and when I was the doctor was very nice he listen to my problem with my eye and check it out very thoroughly. Dr. Medina made me feel very comfortable at my first appointment. I feel I got the best care there and now my eye is feeling better thanks to Dr. Medina. Thank you guys!!
Dr. Feldman was a very caring professional when he completed cataract surgery on both of my eyes. He thoroughly explained every part of the procedures and has continued to have a nice bedside manner throughout all my appointments. His staff are also very efficient and pleasant. 10/10 I would recommend him to anyone needing eye treatment!
