The Orange County Gun Club was re-founded April 2011. Our group promotes general marksmanship through our Bi-Monthly shoots. We used to be on Meetup.com, however, we grew too big and required more flexibility with a site hosting our group. We're now at http://www.ocgunclub.org. We cater to the shooters of Orange County, CA.
We are a very friendly group, willing to share our firearms for those that are new to the sport. We can give basic hands-on training/safety for those that have no prior experience and typically have firearms of many calibers and types to shoot. Already have a firearm and want to try out someone else’s in the group? Usually not a problem –just reciprocate. :)
We also promote pro-gun organizations, businesses, charity events, etc. We encourage our members to participate in the charity events to give back.
Whatever your shooting interest may be, we invite you to join us (and bring a friend!) as we practice, share, and discuss our favorite hobby. Usually we meet after for a drink and/or a bite and to chit chat.
All shooters are welcome- inexperienced, beginners to advanced!
Our mission is to educate anyone interested in the shooting sports and to promote the safe and lawful use of firearms. We also provide explanations to what we feel are anti-gun bills and how they will affect the right to keep and bear arms. OCGC is run by volunteers and any monies collected will go toward OCGC costs or events.
