Our son arrived by ambulance and was admitted to ICU. It was somewhat difficult to locate since they said there are several ICU Depts and all but one employee seemed friendly in assisting us there. We were told conflicting info several times which made it frustrating. He arrived around 5pm and we were told the Orthopedic Specialist that was on call was on his way because he needed surgery right away. The night came and went. They proceeded to attempt surgery the afternoon the next day. Surgery was stopped due to complications, now a Urologist was getting called in. So that 2nd day was totally wasted. They only ordered a second CT scan and we got results on the 3rd morning. Now here on Day 3, the surgery that was supposed to happen on Day 1 is finally happening. Don’t know what the rest of this day holds but I’ll plan to update. Meanwhile, I’m laying on the couch in his ICU room staring at an extremely filthy vent above my head.  I thought these places are supposed to be sterilized? No wonder some people leave sick.

Had a wonderful experience at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital. Rushed in needing surgery and experiencing lots of pain. Stayed 5 days left on my birthday with a smile on my face. Great team, everyone were like family thx again &lt;3

Can only speak to our experience with my Mom. She has had 3 visits this year with the latest this week. I have never seen such a great attitude of caring from everyone affiliated with a hospital. Truly an example of what caregiving is about.

My father was at this hospital for a week and received the bare minimum of care. They took blood tests and said everything was normal for his condition metastatic cancer. They suspected fluid in his lungs so they did a test and released him the next day saying he was fine. Not even 24 hours back at home we called an ambulance and came to memorial hospital. He definitely had fluid in lungs, part of his lung collapsed, bleeding in his brain and seizures. Memorial isn’t the best hospital but they have done more for him in these 36 hours than orange park has ever done for him every single time he was admitted. He always told us that he felt like they weren’t taking care of him the way they should, they were just dealing with him, and that he felt like they were hiding something from him. This hospital was just waiting for my father to pass away. Every day that I was in the hospital with him I never even saw a doctor check on him, just nurses. They also made him miss his chemo appointment several times. Never take your loved ones here unless it’s the last option. Isn’t this malpractice?

My name is Bob Ward and I went in this morning 8/30/2023 at 6:30am to get a total knee replacement. I am always a bit apprehensive going to hospitals but the staff in surgerical services really put me at ease. They were polite,professional and all around good people. Just wanted to tell them thanks and God Bless.

This place went above and beyond and saved my life, made sure I got home to my babies, I loved all the nurses who cared for me in that long hospital stay. The Doctors are amazing and the agents are even more so! I am forever grateful for all they did    Thank you so much Orange Park Hospital staff for your hard work and dedication.

Everything was wonderful. The maternity staff was incredibly hands on and we had heard about the labor and delivery department but didn’t believe it. Dr. E was incredible- we love his sense of humor and it was nice to see how fluid the staff was with his needs. Julia was my night nurse who practically never left my side and helped me with everything. Holly was so pleasant along with Lauren and Lindsey. We had multiple people but those are the names that stuck with us!

Staff was AMAZING!!! My nurses were super attentive and saw to it that I had all the support needed to have a successful hospital stay and discharge. My family was also treated with care and respect. My assigned nurses were ALL top tier!!!

Couldn’t speak highly enough of this facility. Had to bring my 5 year old with me and they accommodated her as well, bringing her a sandwich and juice while we waited in our room. I don’t know the nurses name but he was working in the ER tonight. What a kind man. We had an overall great experience! Wonderful doctors who explained everything and got us in and out as fast as possible!

The nurses are extremely lazy on the 3rd floor it’s actually horrible. You expect nurses to actually care for the patient. They only care for their income and it shows. If you have elderly family there make sure to check on them daily. They have a tendency to ignore the elderly. The doctor was great though and its shameful when the Dr has to apologize for his nurses actions. Please don’t go to charge nurse she’s no better! Her attitude is horrible and very unprofessional.
