My husband and I lived here for about three years. If you’re looking for a place, we 100% Do Not Recommend this Complex. Privacy means nothing to them once we had no Prior Notice that Maintenance would be arriving and they walked in on me, while I had my bathroom door wide open, and my husband was not home to answer the door for them, so they just unlocked our door and walked right in, Maintenance arrives whenever they want and without warning even when you are not home twice we found some of our belongings moved, and later found out they did two Inspections without our knowledge, untimely Inspections are about every 3-4 months with either very short or no Prior Notice at all, Reports of Auto Part Theft taking place in the parking lots occurred way too often, Yearly Automatic Lease Renewal instead of monthly, and rent continues to go up yearly. If we could have left sooner, we would have. If you like your privacy, like to feel safe, and do not like to spend beyond your means due to ridiculous rent cost, this is definitely Not the Apartment Complex for you. If we could, we would actually give a 0/5 Star Rating.
Was a resident there years ago and still have people I know there. This is located right next to an elementary school and lots of kids live here. Do not come here if you have kids ... They are now banished from playing outside their patio doors. Children can only play at the tiny little kid park...No where else. Have never ever heard of such discrimination against kids. Seems they are trying to get families to move out during this gross inflation when people can't afford fuel or food. Very very sad. Update..... They have changed their minds. Kids can play outside now. Happy to see this!!!
Relatively nice. I have lived here for 3 years. Great place for children. School close by and many neighborhood children to play with and lots of open grassy areas. Maintenance and office staff have been very responsive and helpful. My only complaints are cheap paint and things poorly put together. My one year old was able to pull the toilet paper holder right from the wall only to find that it isn't really screwed in. Just placed on a hook or something. Same with the towel bar. Paint rubs right off the wall when I try to wash my walls. But honestly that's all. Overall nice place. Nice neighbors.
I have lived at Orangewood Park Apartments for over a little over 3 years and overall had a great experience in this little community. The first few years were great we liked our neighbors and the space wasn’t to bad either. I also enjoyed having a pool although I didn’t like how much the pool passes were for each person, thought it was a little much. Also, the rent kept going up and up every year which we were told when we initially signed up that our rate wouldn’t change. On a good note the maintenance people were very attentive if you ever needed anything which was nice! The residences seemed very friendly and personable as well which was a plus. Overall our experience was a good one and would recommend this apartment complex.
I have been here since January 2015. It's always well kept, the people in the office are friendly and helpful. The few times I have ever needed maintenance they are here in record time. My kids are happy here. Most neighbors are friendly and never a problem with noise or drama. The pool is great, also. Love it at orangewood!
This was my first experience in renting an apartment and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. Amanda was so nice. She helped me through the application process, showed me a nice apartment that I'm going to be moving into and all my questions were answered. The whole experience has been wonderful, no problems at all. I can't wait to settle into my new home.
Lived here for 6 years. Easy place to split a rent at. Worst bug is uncommon spiders during winter. Maintenance is quick. Elaine in the front office is a great understanding person. However they go through managers like clockwork and I’m not about the pool even though it’s a decent one.. parking gets tough in the inner Patricia lane but closer to the main road the easier parking gets. Occasional incidents with fire and mischeif. But they always send out notes and have inspections and routine water flushings. Been a reasonable experience here. Rent only went up 2 times in 6 years!
I've been a resident at Orangewood for a year and a half. Earlier this year I had a problem with my heat. Maintenance responded quickly and repaired my issue. Both the maintenance staff as well as the office staff are polite and efficient. I am proud to call Orangewood Apartments my home!
I lived in these apartments way back in 1981 and they were great then. Back in those days the only complaint with all tenants was the drafty windows. Sure enough everyone's windows were replaced shortly after. Management and maintenance were all very friendly and prompt when it came to addressing any issues. I LOVED living at these apartments.
Horrible management and terrible customer service. They told us for a month that we were basically approved and there was just a glitch in their system that they were waiting on for our official letter. After that month of us calling them almost daily, they tell us we weren’t approved because of missing pay information. But when we offered up the missing information, explanations & offered to provide additional proof for anything that was in question they just didn’t want to hear a word of it. Completely wasted a month of our time that we could have spent looking for other places had we not been misinformed and given the runaround, which is what we would’ve done from the start if we knew this is how they were managed
