The Orchard Farm Fire Protection District covers an area of 46 square miles, serves 1400 citizens runs approximately 200 calls a year.
The Orchard Farm Fire Protection District is bordered by Central County Fire and Rescue to the west and Rivers Pointe’ Fire Protection District to the east. We protect portions of the Mississippi River to the North and the Missouri River to the south. The district covers an area of approximately 46 square miles and serves approximately 1400 citizens. The district includes several large marinas, residential areas, the Orchard Farm Schools, the St. Charles County Airport (Smartt Airfield), railroad tracks, pipelines, and mostly made up of rural agriculture. We provide all types of emergency services and run approximately 200 calls a year.
To respond to emergencies that threaten, or identify situations that will threaten, the lives and property of the citizens of The Orchard Farm Fire Protection District and all other areas in which we provide mutual aid fire protection services. When called to such emergencies, we will utilize any and all resources within our means to protect lives and property, while limiting the degree of human suffering. Our mission is to provide fire suppression, fire prevention, emergency medical services, response to natural disasters and the rescue of trapped, lost or injured persons, all with the goal of providing these services with professionally trained and experienced personnel, utilizing the necessary apparatus and equipment in the most cost-effective manner possible.
