We live 8hrs away and having our wedding in the area so I could only go off of pictures and reviews. We ordered a NY and a strawberry cheesecake and Oh My God, they were the best cheesecakes we've ever tasted!! Loved that they're made from scratch!

In the middle of a pandemic and the holidays, we decided to move. I am always responsible for dessert for family gatherings because I love to bake! In the chaos of everything I just didn’t have time, so I figured I should order some holiday pies. Online ordering was so easy. Pick up was quick and easy and the pies were SO STINKING GOOD!!! I found my new go to when I need them Thank you Orcutt Bakery for allowing me to keep up my end of the bargain with my family.

I ordered a cake for my son's 8th birthday in Heaven. I went in a week beforehand and talked with the male owner and showed him pictures and described what I wanted. He assured me it would be no problem and asked me to email the pictures I showed him and any others I found. I emailed him the pictures I showed him that day, plus 4 or 5 more. I never heard back, so 2 days before I was going to pick up the cake I called to check what time I could get it. Just to make sure things were on track since I never heard anything. He said everything was great and I could pick it up between 11 and closing. The day I picked it up My son's birthday, the wife was the person out front, she never greeted me and I pointed at what seemed like what might be my cake in the refrigerator and said I was there to pick up my cake. She walked over to it, put it in a box, asked if I needed help carrying it out a 2-tiered cake!?, then walked away. Mind you, there was no lid on the box, and my hands were full of my car keys, wallet and the '8' candle I had just purchased. Yeah, guess I got this? Through all my tears, the rudeness of this lady, and trying to figure out how I was going to transport this cake, I didn't notice until I got to my final location and could really take a good look at the cake that it wasn't really what I had asked for or what was discussed with the husband or in the pictures I sent. Hopefully it at least tasted good. I cut a slice, up to the cardboard between the tiers anyway why it was still in there, who knows ‍, and the disappointment quickly set in. Then I took a bite. Had they made the cake the say I ordered it and it had been in that refrigerator for a week? Did they just forget to simple syrup the cakes? They were dry as the Sahara. It was supposed to be a coconut cake with lemon curd or lemon custard inside. It was a white cake with lemon buttercream. I even said in my email, cream cheese frosting inside would be great, I'm willing to pay extra, I don't like any other frosting! I was so sad. My baby passed away, I was sobbing when I ordered the cake, trying to compose myself, I told them in person and in the email this was so important to me and just needed it to be right for his birthday and no one could even bother to contact me to ask questions? Really? It took me 5 days to even be able to post this. I'm not surprised by the negative feedback they have gotten and I wish I had looked at it beforehand. I just thought I would support a small business during these difficult times. Guess I will research a little better next time.

I just ordered two boxes of goodies and delivered them to a few of my family members that I miss, I wrote a message on the box and left on their door steps to cheer them up during this quarantine process. Thank you for continuing to provide treats to all of us. It defiantly helps bring smiles to my friends and family! P.S. they have reported back that the goodies are scrumptious!

We ordered a couple cupcakes for my baby shower that I wanted to have PINK frosting on them. They did do pink frosting, but I was disappointed to see that underneath the pink frosting you could tell they did WHITE frosting and scraped it off and went ahead and did the pink frosting over that. Obviously they messed up, but it’s a bakery!! They couldn’t redo my cupcakes?? I see them post all these nice cupcakes on their Instagram and mine looked like SHIT. I expected more from them honestly. Won’t be going back there. I can’t even post the picture but I have a picture where you can clearly see that scraped off white frosting.

I will never order from this location again. My cake was beautiful on the outside but was flakey and dry. It was so nasty, I wanted to cut a piece and have them try it. For the amount I spent, I was not happy. I normally order from Albertsons and will Continue to.
