“Soul Food” usually brings thoughts of greasy fare and clogged arteries. We have created a new type of soul food without heavy salt and refined sugar, "bad" fats, and unhealthy cooking techniques, while
leaving in the down-home flavor. Our chefs only use fresh, whole, high-quality, healthy ingredients and cooking methods with a focus on local, seasonal, sustainably grown food. Our new recipes have been conceived through the lens of the African Diaspora.
African Diaspora refers to the communities throughout the world that have resulted by descent from the movement in historic times of peoples from Africa, predominantly to the Americas and among other areas around the globe.
We are reinterpreting African, South American, Caribbean, African American, and Native American authentic dishes to create something familiar, comforting, and deliciously unique. Bo and his Chefs have
reinvented Southern cuisine-capitalizing on the complex flavors of the tradition, without the animal products.
