Loved it! There may be a lot of Bad Reviews, which I thought Also made this Place Sketchy. Though Once I went there myself the Food was Amazing!! They may have Taken only cash but Don't let the Outside or Inside looks fool you The food is definitely worth it, And On top of that- there is only One Person Working the Whole Place! Including food, serving, service, ext. I'm definitely Impressed! She Was Super nice too! Definitely recommend!
Under new management - now Vietnamese Cuisine. So far, I have visited the establishment twice and hesitate to give a rating and te computer will not let me post until I give a rating. So one should realize that my rating could change. The establishment is under new management and no longer serving Chinese cuisine. The new business features Vietnamese cooking and Pho. So far, I have visited the restaraunt twice. First off, the owners have a smaller menu than the other Vietnamese restaraunts. There were no lunch specials at the times I visited. Be patient, the cooks needs a few minutes to prepare your order. If you are ordering from them to go, it might be worth to call ahead and place your order. The Pho is very good, however, the broth has been midly spiced. The other items that I and my friends ordered off the menu were tasty. This restaraunt deserves a return visit.
Extremely personable staff and excellent food, would definitely return. What the restaurant lacks in decor, it makes up for in taste. The owner was not afraid to make real recommendations and the suggestions were amazing. The wok seared rice has a smoky flavor that keeps you wanting more!
Trust the reviews not the appearance of the building. Food was perfect and the menu offered more interesting options than the old standbys. She whipped up my order super fast and chatted with me. I drove past another option to get here and I’m not sad about it.
How do you leave a review for great food and terrible atmosphere and service? Three stars, I guess. The food is awesome. It's also dirt cheap. But, how I wish they would simply raise the price of every menu item a dollar and HIRE A SERVER! The owner runs around trying to wait on tables and answer the phone and check people out. There is only 1 or 2 cooks. Often, the cook is trying to do double duty as a server. So, no matter how good the food is, when I have to wait for a long time and my drink comes after the food, and then I have to flag him down for condiments and please-- invest in a mustard and duck sauce container for every table!!, it's just not worth it. The guy is friendly enough, but he can't handle serving a whole restaurant by himself-- no one could. And the "decor"... I don't think they did anything when they decided to open for business. It's depressing. Turn up the heat so people don't have to eat in their coats. Paint the walls. Install some booths. It would also be awesome if they offered delivery. The reviews are overwhelmingly positive because of the food, but I really wish the owners would put some effort into the overall experience. I've been advised that I should just order my food for carryout, but half the time, no one answers the phone because they're so busy trying to handle the customers in the restaurant.
The best food!!! Who cares about decor, really?? We've been eating here for about 6 years, and it's always amazing. We always eat in, and the owner and his wife, the cook, are always so nice to us. My husband is picky and not a fan of foreign food, so they always whip him up some spicy beef and rice. The owner is also the waiter, and he can come off as odd, but I don't mind him, he's really very nice if you get him to open up. The food is some of the best Chinese I've ever had. Their Thai Mango dish is one of my all-time favorite meals. I love the hot and sour soup, and their egg rolls are homemade and DELICIOUS. This also is the only place I can find pineapple fried rice with our trekking to Cordova. She is really a great cook, and the food is superb. Be prepared with cash, as sometimes their machine is glitchy. They do give military discounts. If you need ambiance or atmosphere or whatever, get the food to go. But seriously, just eat in and enjoy it.
An unexpected surprise! I was leery of coming here from the outside looks, but it is a legit good place to eat. The lunch plates are good, the small extras like the egg roll is nice, and the hot & sour soup is tasty. This place has become a regular lunch spot! Thumbs up!
As a former resident of both China and Thailand, I had serious doubts about the authenticity of this place. I mean, seriously, we live in a small, southern town. But I was very surprised and impressed by the quality and authenticity of this place. Perfect? Of course not! But I’ve never had more authentic Chinese food in America. And even the Thai food was pretty on its’ game. I’m impressed and we’ll be back.
Known the owner for 5 years now and I've eaten here numerous times. Now the whole family loves it! Never once have we had a bad experience. Hands down the best Asian fusion restaurant around!! Don't let the location fool you, a must try! Keep up the good work!
Good eating experience. It's in one of the older strip malls in Millington, therefore the inside is slightly dated. But don't let that fool you. Very good Asian cuisine, slightly pricier than some of the other choices in Millington, but the food is better too, and a larger portion. Served by one of the owners and the other one cooked our meals. Server was talkative and polite and very attentive. Overall good lunch experience, would definitely return.
