Oriental Rug Restoration (ORR) offers restoration, cleaning/washing, appraisals, and selling/buying of oriental rugs. Gary has over 40 years of experience with rugs from all origins -including Persian, Chinese, Pakistani, Indian, Turkish, and Caucasian- and all ages, be it antique, semi-antique, or new. All work, including hand washing and professional repair, is completed by Gary.
Restoration: re-weaving, re-piling, binding, overcasting, adding new fringe, moth damage repair, patching.
Cleaning: hand washing, stain removal, de-odorizing
Service: long-term storage preparation, moth proofing, stair carpet installation, re-sizing, reshaping/blocking to correct for irregularities, insurance appraisals
Gary is able to find select pieces, old and new, to meet the needs of all his customers. Delivery and pickup are arranged at the customer's convenience. A FREE estimate is provided prior to any work.
