Original Mels Diner Antioch

Not that great, I typically love going to diners. I decided to get a burger and it was not good. The best part about it was the buns. The service was great and people were very kind but the food was not worth it.Food: 1/5

It was a delicious turkey sandwich, loved it. The food it hit the spot, but it was pretty small serving size, cut into halves. Side salad too. I give this place overall, "Four stars"..But don't get me wrong, the table Customer Service was great, we had two employees waiting Our table. Nice pictures on the walls and fun looking place. Music was enjoyable took me straight to the 1950's Era!! Everyone was pretty happy. THANKS!

Our server was so sweet, and did a great job. The guy in the kitchen, not so much. He treated her poorly, we could hear him. Over a small issue. The "patty melt" only had cheese on one side and the burger was just ok. The cheese fries used too be awesome there, not this time. It's a shame.Food: 2/5

It feels good to eat out here. The decaf coffee and strawberry pancakes with whipped cream were delicious and extremely tasty!!! I cannot wait to come back here next time, because it's been awhile.

Warm and welcoming service, went to another place for breakfast and they act like we were invisible. So we came to this establishment, we were treated very well. Great place keep up the great service. Made sure I tipped the people who served us. Thanks again

Love this place. They're great for a quick take out or sit down restaurant. The service staff takes care of every need and the cooks are wonderful. The club sandwich is to die for. And the duece coupe YUM!!!Food: 5/5

This place is always the best every time I go! Their food is fantastic and their employees are so nice. The choice in music is great! I love this diner. Better then any diner in Antioch! Used to be SO MUCH better! Ordered a ton for my family tonight and most was cold and soggy. I ordered chicken fried steak with stuffing. the stuffing resembled peanut butter fudge in color, consistency and it was a cube.... ?????Disgusting!!!!. The broccoli was undercooked and had about a pound of garlic in it. The biscuits were dry and the gravy was runny...this is all just from 1 plate! The kids sampler and chicken didn't come with ANY sauces for dipping and fries looked like someone stepped on them they were so squishy.. Needless to say we had to get food elsewhere after spending a fortune and waiting for this sorry example of Diner food to arrive cold and soggy
