My wife and I took our daughter to lunch here on the 13th of October. We’ve always found that this is an excellent place for sushi. The Hibachi is tasty but, the sushi is the star. The restaurant is cozy, and the wait staff is friendly and timely. I acknowledge that it’s not like the restaurants I dined at in Tokyo, but the food is enjoyable and reasonably priced. The service is solid and friendly, and the atmosphere is quite comfortable. Before we moved quite some distance away, we used to get takeout at this restaurant at least once or twice a month and it was always good. Now, we try to make a point that when we visit our daughter that we have lunch here. Parking: This is probably the restaurants’ weakest point. The parking lot is small and a little bit cramped. We were able to find parking at the restaurant; however, on a Friday lunchtime, it was a bit tight.
When you want good food, at great price was an excellent service, Osake is an option. The best option is the Bento boxes.
DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!! This place had horrible customer service and the food was a 000. I wouldn’t have gave it any stars. My salmon was over cooked and my steak had a sour taste. Wen I mentioned it the lady said u keep complaining about everything and I know u not gonna tip me. When I told the owner she said she can make another steak cause it all came from the same place. When I said she could jus remove the steak from my bill she said there establishment doesn’t work like that so I still needed to pay for it. Paying wasn’t the issue my food being nasty was my problem. So rude and disrespectful. I will NEVER visit here again. They ruined my bday dinner!!!!
Stopped in for a Bento Box for lunch. The prices are reasonable and the meal was good.Food: 4/5
My first time coming to Osake was pleasant the food was eh ok but my second time was not the best actually it was quite terrible. I placed a to go order almost a hour before arriving when I arrived my food was not ready making me late for work. I had to wait 20 minutes for my food to be done and it was only three people in the restaurant. While walking in I witnessed the manager be absolutely rude and confrontational with a guest. Even threatening to call the police on her instead of trying to rectify the situation. I work at a restaurant and my managers would never handle a situation like that so with that being said, I will not be eating here again.
I am giving this place 2 stars only for our server Juan who did the best he could. As far as sanitary standards go, everyone hung out near the sushi rolling area with no mask laughing and talking constantly above the food being made. The sushi chef himself was drinking from his cup and then continued to make the sushi rolls. I watched as he struggled for nearly 20 minutes during a slow time to make the 4 rolls that we ordered and throughout this time he referenced the menu that was hanging on the wall about 12 times reading through it with the waitress to make sure he's making it right. After 20 minutes, I expected these to be the best sushi rolls I've had in my life. Much to my disappointment, one of the rolls was missing everything but crab and he put cream cheese inside in error. I asked the waiter to please have this remade since it's not what we ordered and we do not eat dairy. The waiter brought out one of the 4 rolls first and we asked for Wasabi to which he responded that it will come on the other plate when he finishes making it which were finished another 6 minutes later. The rice and seaweed were okay but the rolls themselves were not cut through and I found them falling apart as soon as I tried to pick them up and separate them. The presentation was good. Either way, this was the first and last time I will be trying this place out.
I gave this place a rating about a year ago and I wanted to update it. This place is still my favorite sushi and hibachi place in town. I've tried several different places around town and I always find myself back here. My current favorites are the steak hibachi and the heaven roll Definitely worth a try Food: 5/5
Had lunch here. Food was good and service was nice. Good lunch spot.Food: 5/5
Awesome food and A+ service! Had the Hibachi Filet and Shrimp with rice. Shrimp was very good and the filet just melted in your mouth! I will definately eat here again!Food: 5/5
Took my mom here for her birthday, didn't feel like a hibachi place because they dont cook in front of you. The fried rice and shrimp weren't the best, but the filet was the best steak I've had in awhile. Appetizers were really good and the sushi was good too. Food was finished extremely quick but the servers kind of forgot about us. I'd go back for the Appetizers, miso soup, just the filet, and the sushi. Plus these are super affordable prices compared to any place in Atlanta
