don’t even want to write too much but arguably the worst haircut i’ve ever received before. it was cut by i believe anatoly the older man that has been cutting hair for “50 years” which i highly doubt because i can do a better job my self. He lacks to understand that the he is responsible to listen to the customer and cut hair accordingly to how they would like, surprised he’s still working there.
10/10 hair salon experience! Oscar cut my hair throughout my childhood, all through high school, he's an awesome guy and an even better hair stylist. I recently called the salon 10 years after my last visit, and immediately felt welcome again, with Oscar treating me like I never left and slotting me in for a next-day appointment with Connie. I'd been growing my hair out for 3 years and was ready to donate, and Connie made the process super seamless and easy! After chopping off the 12 inches, she asked me what haircut I wanted and I just showed her a picture of what I used to look like, and she knew exactly what to do—she absolutely nailed it. Everyone's amazing that works there, and they've got a great culture that will make anyone feel at home. Highly recommend for all ages!Service: Haircut
Great place with a great history too, the owner Oscar started here when he was only a teenager, and worked 20 years before taking over the place! He is an amazing barber, and all his staff are great too. The most amazing part, Oscar treats every customer as family. He knows almost every customer by name, and likes to joke and laugh and have a good time. He's passionate about his business and it shows! You really can't ask for better then Oscar's hair salon

Oscar’s Hair Salon in Northbrook, Illinois is the best Salon I’ve ever been to. The staff is so nice & the stylists are world class. Every friend I’ve ever referred their has loved their experience, so much so, they all still are clients. I’ve been seeing Oscar since 1998. Oscar cut my hair to perfection for not only my High School Prom, but for my wedding as well 23 years later!!! I highly recommend Oscar’s Hair Salon in Northbrook.
My experienced with Oscars was okay. I just had it this afternoon.. The guy who did my hair was cool and very friendly I don't remember his name but hes tatooed both sleeves price was okay, people are all nice, looks like everyone have good vibes to each both customers and employees. But my only concerned is the guy who did my hair was not properly trained i could tell from his movements and sat down for over 40mins minutes usually 15 to 20mins max done already. Oscar did 3 guys same time when i was sitting. I did not bother say anything because I want him to finish the job and not give him a hard time. I just want it to get it done. But overall I still recommend this place for professionalism and good hospitality. Thank youService: Haircut
I go to Oscar’s Hair Salon and use Connie. I have used her for years for haircuts, color and most important, Keratin straightening. She is fabulous and the shop in general is a pleasure to go to. I highly recommend them!
Wonderful experience from start to finish. Welcoming atmosphere, friendly, professional staff and Valerie is awesome. The color she suggested works beautifully for the "natural" look I wanted.
