The Parks & Recreation Department is a division of the City of Osceola, Iowa responsible for the maintenance and beautification of City owned parks along with various, but not all, City owned property and buildings. The Department is also charged with providing a variety of activities and events, to a variety of ages, for the citizens of Osceola. Additionally, the Department operates Maple Hill Cemetery.
Parks & Recreation exists to preserve and enhance the quality of life and encourage healthy lifestyles of Osceola residents through education, recreation programming, quality parks, nature areas, and trails.
