Avoid this office especially Dr. Beratio she has poor bed side manner with the Elderly especially, questionable ethics, This office is PRO-OPIATES ANTI-CANNABIS Also their care for Elderly patients is questionable & lacking to say the least. Ignore health issues in a Elderly Patient,& was more concerned with Legal Cannabis use. Lol Get with the times. Also please do not send a Auto response to this review, after we talked face to face directly on the issue on 1-24-2023 You earned this review. Zero Stars would actually be more appropriate but it’s not a option.
I was referred to go here to get an MRI. backstory: I had an similar test at the downtown location, and the stuck me through a scar on my hand. The entire time, the contrast dye leaked causing nerve damage and a blood clot. To protect themselves, my OSF doctor stopped seeing me to try to avoid a lawsuit. Funny thing is I never mentioned trying to sue them and never spoke to a lawyer. Fast forward to today.. I went in to have the MRI, and the lady who took me back was RUDE from the moment she introduced herself to me. We got back to the room, and I informed her of the incident from downtown and told her that I would not allow her to stick me in the same spot due to the bad experience. She called me a liar and told me that never happened. My chart shows that it did because I ended up in the ER due to the severity of the pain. She asked me what I wanted her to do. I instructed her that I was willing to let her stick me in the arm. She refused and said I would let her stick me in the hand or I could get out. I again said that I was not willing to do that because of the problems that happened before. She again called me a liar and told me to get out!! She was absolutely the rudest, and worst healthcare worker I have ever dealt with! I will never go back to this location.
Besides having to be switched over to a different doctor put into direct me too a proper doctor to properly help me, earthquake fast and very productive. Especially for setting my first actual doctor's appointment solo I did pretty good
Was scheduled at center for health on route 91 and got moved to Morton because of a machine that was broken. The first and most important thing is the lack of wayfinding as you enter 435 Maxine drive. I wasn't sure if this was just prompt care and if outpatient testing and the doctor's office was in another building. I got on the phone and made a quick call and the lady who answered the phone was very accommodating. Told me where to go when I went in the front door, questions asked, testing done etc. I had two CTs and Ashley my pregnant tech was very kind and compassionate. She told me exactly what was going to be done, exactly what I had to do, and to flush water the rest of the night to keep my kidneys functioning. I've never been to Morton nor have I been to this facility but it certainly was well worth my visit. But please someone get a sign out front so you know that this is a one stop shop.
The staff was friendly and personable. Front office staff, my nurse, and the practitioner were all caring and professional. My meds were called in promptly and I was on my way. Great example for OSF!
0 organization whether you have an appointment or are a walk in. Rare for this place since all the previous staff at the lab desk was good at there job.
No organization, no listening skills, and they have no consideration at all for your time. Think hard about another OSF office before you try this one.
Doctor Collins was very nice and made me feel comfortable which is hard to do for me. Look forward to seeing her on my next check up
It was a very nice place. I felt like they treated me like family.
I travel passed closer OSF locations to go to this one.
