They literally saved my life! I will forever be grateful, as a lupus flare nearly cost me my life. I suffered heart failure due to my autoimmune disease, the care and concern saved my life! This hospital and staff show love along with cutting edge technique! Goddess bless each and everyone one of you!
My Mom got good care. Doctor basically saved her life. I was very disappointed that the hospital does not recycle. Tons of waste. Disgusting. Public restrooms were not always clean.
Specialty drs for pediatrics are overbooked!! There’s no way I should have to wait THREE MONTHS for an available appointment!! Also we showed up for the last appointment 20 minutes early like you’re supposed too or they cancel your app we waited 30 Minutes after checking in on the waiting room to be called back. The nurse was great did her job said the dr would be coming in to see us shortly. She left we waited over an HOUR for the doctor to come in and she never, or anybody else for that matter, came in or said anything so we left. Absolutely ridiculous
I would love to show some appreciation for four AMAZING women working in Zone 4 Surgical during our visit Sep.5-7, 2023... GINAERINANGELAANGIE WE APPRECIATE YOU FOUR, SO MUCH! THE HOSPITALITY, PATIENCE, COMPASSION, GRACE, CONSISTENCY, & SMILES WERE SO HELPFUL! -------------------------------------------------- But the hospital only got 1 because this is how the rest of our visit went... To start, my boyfriend had to wait 44 hours, with a known broken back & possibly damaged neck, for an MRI. With absolutely no food or drinks. The night charge nurse in Zone 4 is the absolute rudest, inattentive nurse we have ever dealt with at any medical center. I believe her name was Ashley. Multiple nurses put his neck brace on wrong risking his broken back and possibly injured neck being hurt worse. Several staff members pulled/grabbed him by his injuries multiple times stating they forgot he was injured there, while having the incorrectly placed neck brace and a sling on his arm. There were also a few employees who were very rude to the elderly patients. We had one in our shared room who they forgot to order food for more than once, forgot to give him his meds after he asked for them when they were already late giving them to him, kept shutting the light off on him when he asked them not to. I could not believe the treatment people were receiving in there. They didn't have the courtesy to even let us know they were discharging my boyfriend. Just showed up in our room saying we can't do anything for you. Bye. When the doctors hadn't even looked at him. Hopefully we find a doctor to get the medical attention his body needs. We live a long ways away and rode in the ambulance there for an emergency transfer from another hospital. To throw us out of our room knowing we didn't have a ride lined up because they knew we weren't aware until that moment. We had to sit outside while he has a broken back, broken ribs, and a torn shoulder waiting for hours for our ride to come get us. I was beyond astonished at the way this hospital was ran. We discussed our concerns with other patients and they also noticed that there may be some taking of patients meds. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this hospital for anyone. If I had to base my review solely on the 4 amazing women up there it would be off the charts. As far as the rest of the Zone 4 employees... I have no idea how any of you even have jobs... Big fat 0*
My wife was gravely ill and they flew her to OSF. She was treated by Dr. M. Abdulaaima who was able to figure out what was wrong with her. The staff there is wonderful caring and very competent. Without their care she would have died. Wonderful place and staff.
My experience was awesome until it came to discharge. My morning nurses was so rude. Lacey! Thanks for lying saying I left without telling anybody. I did you!!!! I've never been a healthcare worker be so rude and uncaring!!!!
Intake @ emergency room was quick, due to the fact there appears to be a tacit agreement in Illinois of signing out AMA against medical advice from one facility and driving yourself to the next hospital due to bed space ect. Did not have to wait in ER there were however at least 8 people waiting there in various poses of pain and resignation to the whims of the staff. Once in my room,........wow....just....wow....Fallujahs main hospital was in better condition, I needed a stint placed due to a blocked esophagus they attempted on Monday evening FAILED! I have no problem with the failure I do however have a problem with not a single physician telling me it was unsuccessful I was told by a rude nurse who will remain nameless due to the fact a possible cancerous mass is blocking my esophagus, in the very next breathe she looks at my wife and says visiting hours are over you need to leave....we live in lincoln nebraska. I informed the staff if my wife goes than so do I. Once that nightmare was handled, attempt #2 on Tuesday was successful after the first physician apologized for not telling me herself and leaving it to nursing staff. Now the problem is ......I have a cancer, how bad? Dunno the lady in the records dept is rude and disrespectful, the charting of the GI Dr. Is subpar, my Omaha neb physician is recommending starting from scratch ASAP. I'd rather go straight to the morgue than this pathetic, subpar, third world excuse of a hospital, you'd get better medical care from a leprosy effected epileptic than these clowns IN MY OPINION!
I came in the middle of the night with contractions and my husband and I were immediately taken to the maternity wing; the ladies there said they would not wait for transport and wouldnt want to risk anything given my pregnancy and the timing and number of my contractions. Everyone was so kind, communicative, and efficient! Once admitted the resident Dr. V, Nurse Sarah, Ashley, Becky, Izzy, Cassidy, Dessi, Marie, among others who cared for me during and after my c section, were so thorough and kind throughout the process. My family and I were well taken care of and even some humor made thus patient feel quick to recover. Thank you all and God Bless You.
The Drs are great however the majority of the nurses and staff are a joke!! They kept asking me how much Heparin my port needed, how much IV Dilaudid I usually receive for my stage 4 cancer painI'm 28 years old and it's not like I'm a Dr so how the heck would I know anyway!?, and I developed multiple bed sores after almost 3 weeks of them refusing to help me change positions or even give me ointments or antibiotics for the bed sores!!I have ascites fluid in my stomach that's caused me to be mostly bedridden and stuck on my back bc lying on my side and stomach is impossible for me right now! I have a hard time standing on my own let alone rolling or anything like that so if you're in a situation like mine save yourself from the extra pain and go to Carle instead!!
Worst ER experience ever. Took all day long-HOURS, I was starving and had to end up leaving before they even came back with the results for my test. They stated they would call me with the results but I have yet to hear back. The waiting room bathroom in the ER was nasty. The toilet seat was filthy, cigarette ashes on the floor, and the sink was so dirty I didn't even want to wash my hands. Not going back here for anything ever again.
