You never want to need a funeral home but when you do, you want one that communicates clearly about the price, the process, the options, and all facets of their services with compassion and care. Brian, Oksana and everyone at Linwood Ott did exactly that and we were very pleased by how well they supported us when our mother passed away. The funeral home itself is very well kept and comfortable with a home-like atmosphere, there's plenty of seating and restrooms and the biggest surprise was a beautiful portrait they had made for the funeral that now hangs proudly in my home. This is a highly recommended resource for those who have suffered a loss.
Oksana and everyone else at the funeral home was very sympathetic and understanding. We would recommend them without question.

I live in another state, my father had Navy Military honor services, Brian and his staff were right there for me coordinating everything for me. During a time of shock and grief when my Mom passed away last month, the staff at Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home were extremely compassionate. The funeral director, Ms. Szankovics, listened with such kindness and went above and beyond in her care for our family during this very difficult time. She treated us and our Mom's life with professionalism, interest, and deepest respect, and that meant the world to us. The time, thoughtfulness, and care she and the office manager took to create a slideshow and tribute to Mom's life went beyond expectations and was such a beautiful way to honor her and we are so grateful for that. Ms. Szankovics' quiet and gentle presence was a balm in a time of deep grief. We highly recommend Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home for the care they took of both our loved one and we who go on without her.
I would like to say my first experience as being executor of my mothers post life arrangements, Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home was top notch. They took care of everything. Which really helped with my grieving for my Mother. Highly recommend Thank you so much for being amazing during this time.
Linwood W.Ott Funeral home did an outstanding job helping go through the steps for my wife that had passed.I worked with Brian Stillo,who went over ALL the steps I would have to go through...he made it very easy, and answered all my questions with direct answers.Very easy going and easy to talk with. Pleasure to do business with him. Again, OTT Fureral home did a great service for my family.
My mother pre-arranged her funeral. Ott’s screwed up the paperwork and she was charged twice. This was a very large amount. This caused her and I a lot of headaches. The funeral home would not take responsibility for their mistake. Instead I and a lawyer had to deal with the insurance company that processed the payment while Otts avoided our calls. They were not helpful when they made a huge financial mistake by sending in a check and an ACH form resulting in the money being taken out twice. And checks bouncing. And fees due to their mistake. A very large amount taken out twice. Never again.
Brian Stillo was exceptional. Compassionate, thoughtful and so professional. He made this hard time so much easier! I highly recommend his services ! Donna DiMaggio
