Overview: I have only been to the spring one time. But I can assure you that this is a fun little place to visit. They have RV camping and tent camping. The spring itself is not large but quite beautiful. A nice little beach area for kids to run in and out of the water makes it fun. The boil is gorgeous. Make sure you bring your snorkel gear and see if you can dive down and see the small opening at the bottom. I only stopped in for a few hours to swim in the spring. Well worth it. What to know: At the time of this writing, it was only $3 per person. You will need to check in when you arrive. Go into the small store and pay. They have a few covered picnic areas for large gatherings in the spring area. It can get a bit crowded at peak times. There are plenty of open spaces around the spring to spread a picnic-style setting. Easy parking and I'm not sure where the bathrooms are. I did not see any area to purchase drinks or anything like this. I do wish it was a bit bigger, but it was nice. Just pack a lunch and enjoy.
Awesome campground with beautiful spring. Big rig friendly. Serving veterans. Kayak rentals and nature trails. Heated covered pool. Very quiet and peaceful. Loved it and will be back
Loved it! A bit tightly packed together, but we had an end spot so was nicer. The springs are small but beautiful and nice and deep. Nice bike trail through the woods to the Suwannee river. Nice fire rings made from old truck rims. Good playground for kids, super nice indoor heated pool. Would definitely go again!
Stayed here a couple of times most recently February 22. Super quiet relaxing. They have some short stays and a few people who stay I think for the season. The spring was open today and it looked inviting. Facilities are a little older but generally look clean. I just really appreciate how quiet it is.
Our family loved staying here. We had a cabin that was set up like an open studio with a queen bed and a bunk bed. Nice kitchen and bath and plenty spacious with the front porch. The spring was fun to visit but the heated pool was the place to be since it was a little chilly. Nice nature trail in the park and close to….nothing lol. Had a great time and would go again.
Very affordable family friendly campground. Sites are discounted with a military ID. Screened in barn that covers a heated pool. Playground for the kids. Kayak rentals with a 3 mile crystal clear trail to the Suwannee river. The entire trail is maybe 4’ deep. The spring is beautiful with plenty of shallow sandy areas for the kids to play. There’s bass and bluegill fishing beyond the swimming area. My son especially enjoyed all the tree toads he was catching. The sites aren’t huge but each comes with a fire ring and most are full hook up with shade trees covering. Tons of other springs in the area to visit. I’d definitely recommend this place and will be returning.
Stayed in cabin 1 was pretty cool, but needs maintenance. Light bulbs were missing.rotting base no screens. Springs very low flow and just not as clean. Off the river a bit. Great pool and restrooms
Beautiful park with two nice springs on the property. Both trails to the Suwanee are gorgeous as is the paddle trail out to the river from the spring. Prices for rentals are very reasonable and the facilities are clean. The only downside is the small tent camping area that offers no privacy, and the tightly packed camper spots. Otherwise plenty to do here, has basketball and volleyball courts, playgrounds and a swimming pool.
Beautiful Park and awesome spring. Only complaints is that the bathrooms and showers looked pretty nasty when we were there. There were also a lot of kids running around unsupervised but for the most part they did not bother us. Otherwise everyone was very nice and helpful. Will definitely be visiting again.
Beautiful trees, heated and screened in pool, even tent sites have running water and electric hookups near by, activities for families like outdoor movies on friday night. spring itself is rather small and has a good bit of algae growth unfortunately.
