Covering 600 square miles, Ouachita Parish Fire Department is the first emergency contact for over 90,000 citizens. Ouachita Parish Fire Department protects lives, property and the environment through fire suppression, rescue, medical care, fire prevention, disaster preparedness, hazardous material mitigation and community education. We answer close to 7,000 emergency calls per year.
