Over hyped, but still something to offer. While the food quality isn't 5 star and the lines are CRAZY there is still charm to this place. There is a limited and changing menu with GEORGOUS plating. Various bakery and specialty drink items are available. 1 unique thing is the fresh squeezed orange juice in the morning--unique to Blacksburg but pricey at $5.  Parking: Parking right out front

#1 Breakfast place in NRV. Croissants are excellent.  French toast brioche is tasty. They also make excellent cakes and quiche.

Food is great, dinner wait staff is not. I grab lunch at ODB at least once a week. The lunch is always great and customer service is awesome. Regarding dinner…… I’ll have dinner here 1-2 times a month. The food is alway great, but the dinner service is poor. The hostess is usually friendly and polite, but when the food is served that’s when the fun stops. The staff never stops by to ask “how if your food”. Thankfully it’s always tasty. The dinner service could use a lot of improvement.  Whenever I go pay, the waitress is usually rude; doesn’t ask if I enjoyed my meal. When they return the check I say “thank you” and their response is “yep”. I’m not looking for special treatment, but at the very least they should say “thank you for coming in tonight”. But that is not the case. I understand after a long hard day of work people are tired, but dinner service is lacking. As I said the food leaves a wonderful taste, but the dinner staff has me leaning with an overall bad taste. Hope things change…………

Place was super busy for breakfast but everything seemed to run smoothly. All of the food looked amazing including the bakery case. Staff were very rushed and a little rude when taking our order both through the main line and bakery line. Our breakfast was delicious as were our pastries. The macaroons were very stale though which was disappointing.

Excellent food, coffee, and service.  My son and I were visiting Blacksburg and had a chance to grab brekky at Our Daily Break Bakery & Bistro.  I had a great brekky bagel sanger with a fried egg, bacon, and tomato...don't recall what is was called but I call it tasty and satisfying.  My son had a Nutella and banana filled crepe, he loved it!  The coffee was excellent.  There was an impressive selection of breads and sweets but did not get a chance to sample any.  We'll definitely be back next time we're in Blacksburg to try something else as it looks like their menu changes often.

Arrived right before it opened to avoid the lines and was able to grab a table. Our food came out quickly and the freshed squeezed OJ was amazing!

Best cheese danish in the WORLD as well as the chocolate cake  the chocolate scone is so good .. friendly staff

For most birthdays and other events, when we need a cake we get it here. Great selection and they all taste delicious.

Before we got married, my wife and I loved ODB. After we got married, we still absolutely love ODB. They provided a perfect cake for us and our guests. It was delicious and beautiful. We couldn't recommend them enough if you wanna just go for a breakfast, lunch, a pastry, or a wedding cake. Jen was so helpful and kind and communicative and we really appreciate her and the whole staff!
