Our Place, Boca Raton

This place is really confusing... Over the past several months of stopping in for a Tiki Bar visit or a bite to eat. I realized there is yet another business name change... The latest is now called Our place 2. The previous time I was there it was called Norman's Tavern, and before that, it was called Our Place... My receipt shows Our Place, Not Our Place 2 or Norman's Tavern. What's really going on at this place? Why all the name changes and yet management appears the same and the employees are sporting different T-shirts. All I can see different, the prices are higher, quantity smaller and food quality remains sub-par at best. The Tiki Bar should be inspected by the heath department. They certainly are Not the original Our Place at the Boca plaza or Norman's Tavern... Yet continue using old menus from the previous establishment. I mean how much can new menus cost? The entertainment the evening I ate dinner was soooo loud, you had to read lips which was far from enjoyable. The folding chairs and plastic folding tables really set the bar low for the prices they charge. Not to mention the parking. It's hard to find a spot as the non affiliated Boca Plaza Hotel has parking for their guests, not the bar and restaurant. I was also informed that the pool is strictly for hotel guests only. Something fishy is going on here and I don't mean the fish and chips... I was also not surprised that they DO NOT proudly display a Business license and/or State Liquor License... I cannot Recommend

I had a great time there today! The service is friendly and attentive, solid food with decent portions, and well priced drinks. It's really one of those places where everyone knows your name. I had to leave earlier than I wanted, but would have loved stay for the live music. Definitely next time.

It was nice when they had live music outside. They changed owners so many times. Now it's just a sports bar.

Was staying at the hotel for a week and had a great time in the restaurant. Please give them a shot, as I see improvement each time I stop in.
