We really enjoy coming to this location, everything was great. We came this time on a Sunday night with a party of four for dinner, we were seated right away. I ordered the shrooms for an appetizer and the potato soup. We had a 12 ounce ribeye, the filet with lobster tail and the blooming chicken dish, everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. Our server Erin Cwas very friendly and courteous and we didn’t have to ask for anything, she was very attentive. The restaurant was very very clean including the bathroom. I definitely recommend this location.
Upon arrival I was warmly greeted & seated right away. Melissa my waitress was very nice and made sure that I was satisfied during my dinner. The food was pretty good and served quickly, my only complaint would be the music they should be more diverse. Other than that I definitely recommend.Dine in: Yes
Worst outback I have where had. I placed a order on uber eats and put in the special instructions no bread crumbs and even called in after to make sure they can see it the woman on the phone said yes she saw it and the kitchen will make sure it's not on there waited a hour for my food to come only for it to come and it didn't follow the special instructions. Plus I asked for my steak to be Medium well and it was burn. And when I called them about it the girl acted like she didn't care and asked do I want to talk to a manager I said yeah they put me on hold a manager came on the phone. He said it was a mistake and asked do I want to send a replacement I said yes then he put me on hold again and then came back on and he said it's nothing he can do about it and I will have to reorder it if I want my order to be right. Why do I have to reorder when they messed up. Then he put the "owner" on the phone and he was disrespectful and he try to blame me for them messing up and you can tell he didn't care I even said that to him this was a waste of my money. On top of that the food was cold and it seems like they just try to reheat old food. Never will order for this location again
I like Outback Steakhouse very much, unfortunately we dont have any in Rockland County NY no more wondering why??? I love their bloomin' onion and steaks. One of ny friends is chicken lover and he had fried chicken - in his opinion very good. Another friend had chicken and ribs - good too. My prime rib was great! Another friend gave 5* for porterhouse steak. I tried new drink - lavender lemonade - love it!!! We came early around 5.30 - 6pm on Sat and had a table right away. Around 6.30 - 7pm people started to come so it was the waiting list for sitting
Nice place to have good average steak. The meat is fresh, but not always cooked the way you ask. Appetizers are good, but little bit salty. In general, it was a good experience and I will be back. Parking: Available
I don’t know what happened to this place .. I’m so disappointed, I used to come here all the time. I’m not sure if there’s a new chef but all I have to say he did a horrible job! My fiancé ordered blooming onions and they were disgusting.. the breading was coming off the onions .. the onions were so hard. I also have a gluten allergy so they told me before that French fries are gluten free and made in dedicated fryer so I was safe to eat them .. today I asked again if they are gluten free and are made in a separate fryer and the waitress said unfortunately they aren’t gluten free because they fry everything in the same fryer… that is not safe for those with celiac ! Be careful and be aware…. Another thing the steak I had absolutely horrible … to me it tasted like it came out of the microwave or something … I have no idea what they did with it but yuck ! I always had steak here and they were so much better! That’s not all !!! … my fiancé was having a beer and found something swimming in it. Horrible experience.. I won’t be back here.
4$ house beer, 5$ fosters, great waitress thanks Melanie, 35$ porterhouse steak with two sides, 21$ salmon, 8$ kids burger with fries, 7$ cocktails, ... i could go on and on not to forget the fondue and and and .... - in three words: the place to be! Amazing atmosphere, kids friendly, super diverse, nicely decorated ..... . I am the highest rated tour guide in NYC and do make sure to bring my Olidaytours guests to New Jersey and from now on I will make sure to tell them not to only go shopping at Garden State Plaza, but to also go and enjoy what I got to enjoy now for a couple of times at the Outback Steakhouse on Route 17! I would even go that far and say, that it is worth it for tourists from Europe, my clients from Germany, ... to take an Uber out to the Outback, and back again. Just make sure if you do go, to say hello from Olidaytours and ask for Melanie, the amazing waitress .......
Went for Sunday dinner and ordered the Sirloin and Chicken with a side of caesar salad and Mac'n Cheese. Ordered my steak medium and it was cooked perfectly. Wasn't a big fan of the blackened/cajun style seasoning used on the chicken. I believe they used a similar seasoning on the mac'n cheese, too peppery. Our server was very nice. Prices are decent. I would recommend. Parking: Open parking lot.
Our server Holly was so amazing and energetic!! We were nervous about eating out because of our Whole30 but she was very accommodating and asked the kitchen all the little questions we had. Food was good and service was great!!! Dietary restrictions: Whole30
On December 15 2022 for dinner at their location in Rochelle Park NJ, I had the 12 oz classic prime rib medium well with a loaded baked potato. I was in heaven. The dish was perfectly cooked and the loaded baked potato was perfect. I come here to get my prime rib fix in. Not all steak places do prime rib and the ones that do usually only have it on certain days of the week. Longhorn Steakhouse next door does not have prime rib. Boston Market only has prime rib while supplies last on Wednesdays & Fridays starting at 4 p.m. and Sundays starting at 2 p.m. my not available at all Boston Market locations and BJ's Brewhouse and Restaurant in Teterboro only serve prime rib Friday and Saturday after 4pm and All Day Sunday. They don't have loaded baked potatoes or loaded mashed potatoes at BJ's just white cheddar mashed potatoes. At Outback, The au jus is NOT gluten-free that's why its not on the gf menu but the prime rib meat itself is and the loaded baked potato is. The Aussie fries are not on the GF menu because they are in a shared fryer that fries wheat-based dishes. Holly was a very attentive server.
