“Personal and Individualized Pet Care”
About OutPaws:
OutPaws was founded by Taylor Dalstrom following graduate school and several varied career paths. Taylor received his Master of Liberal Studies degree in 2012, from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, before embarking upon a Master of Science in Educational Psychology degree. Before and during this time, Taylor also enjoyed positions as a counselor in social work, high school teacher, and co-manager at Midas automotive. While attending school and in work Taylor came to thoroughly enjoy helping friends and neighbors care for their pets, free of charge. Soon it was realized that Taylor’s love of helping others combined with his love for animals could become a career path. Leaving graduate school halfway through his second graduate degree Taylor has founded OutPaws to create a business that serves to provide peace of mind for pet owners.
Our Philosophy:
The philosophy at OutPaws is relatively simple: We feel our pets thrive when properly cared for and loved. As such, we strive to provide the love and care, in an individualized setting, to all pets under our supervision.
Do I need individualized care for my pet?
There are many different reasons that one may choose individualized care for their pet. Certain animals require more one-on-one attention due to health issues, behavioral problems, or just as a matter of preference! Yet at other times, owners work all day, needing to leave their pets alone for extended periods. This often results in destructive behavior caused by boredom or separation anxiety. A few days each week of individualized attention may help alleviate these and other costly/injurious behavioral problems.
Peace of Mind:
Prior to the first visit or activity for your pet, Taylor will personally come over for a free 30 minute visit. The purpose of the visit will be to make sure that your animal is comfortable and that we may go over your pet’s personal needs.
While at work or away you may want to check on the status of your pet. Based upon your preference updates and pictures of your pet will be available upon Instagram, text, or phone. A more personalized approach may also be discussed!
