Best decision I have ever made!! Conqured my fear of heights today and got incredible views of Western Washington!! Thank you, Bill, Murph, and the rest of the crew for a truly special experience that I nor the rest of the passengers will ever forget!! I will ride again in the future!
I went on the sunrise balloon ride last week and it was so much fun! The pilot was great and I felt very safe. We met in Woodinville and were taken to the nearby launch site. We saw the balloon already laid out on the ground, and two volunteers got to hold the opening of the balloon open as it was inflated. The balloon was even bigger than I had expected. Once the balloon and basket were upright, we all quickly climbed in. Some people found it a little tricky to get into the basket, but everyone managed :- There are two square openings in the basket, just big enough for your foot, so you step up like you’re climbing a ladder. Then I just sat on the edge, swung my legs inside, and hopped down. YMMV. You have to stand for the entire ride, and I was a little worried about that as I get pain in my feet if I stand too long. I had mentioned this to the good folks at Over The Rainbow ahead of time, and they said I would be able to sit on a small step stool if needed, although I would not be able to see over the edge of the basket while sitting. It turned out that our basket was very full with 8 passengers, so there wasn’t really room for me to sit down, but luckily my feet lasted for the duration of the trip so it didn’t matter. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed great views of Mount Rainier, the Olympic Mountains, and Seattle in the distance. The time went by quickly, but I think we were in the air for about an hour. I expected it to be pretty chilly so early in the morning, but it turns out that you get some warmth when the pilot is running the burners so it was very comfortable. As we approached the landing site, the pilot was in close communication with the ground crew. He considered and rejected a couple potential landing sites before deciding to land in the parking lot of a brewery in Woodinville. As we descended, people on the ground watched and waved. When we were pretty close to the ground, the ground crew grabbed a rope and were able to guide the balloon down the last few feet for a soft landing. We ended with some stories from the pilot and a mimosa toast, a lovely way to end a very memorable experience. This has been on my bucket list for quite a while and I’m so glad I finally got to go!

Went on a balloon ride this morning with my husband and had such a blast! It's been on my bucket list for a while now and I'm so glad to have finally done it!!! The crew was absolutely fantastic, they made us feel comfortable and taken care of. Thanks so much again for making our experience so great!
We had a great Ballooning expedition with these guys! Very fun crew, great sites, learned a lot about how the hot air balloon works, and just really enjoyed the flight! It really was a great experience!
We took my dad on a private flight for his 65th birthday and we all had so much fun~ Al told us a lot about hot air balloons, the area we were flying over, and made lots of good jokes along the way. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend!
My wife and I just celebrated 17 years together and I surprised her with this ride. It was well organized, engaging, and entertaining throughout even on the ground. "It's a sport more than a science"!
What an awesome experience! Would highly recommend, Al the captain took a great care of us; taking off, entire ride and landing was a super smooth experience and the VIEW from above was stunning. At the end of our trip, they served champagne and we all did a toast! Great company, definitely felt pampered and will come back in the future!
Murph and Bill are an amazing couple and they have a great crew that took us on this wonderful experience. The ride was smooth, beautiful scenery, and a lot of fun plus we got to meet a few amazing people and chat over the wine tasting session that was included in the package after the ride. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to have a memorable experience.
