Friendly employees and the small town atmosphere make for a pleasurable shopping experience. Due to the store size they do not carry all items you will find at other Kroger/Owen's stores. I shop Owen's for better deals and pricing. If you utilize the online rewards program you will get even more savings on your shopping trips.
I was chased to my car once by a worker who asked if I forgot to pay for my purchase. I had to get out my receipt and show her. Even after I showed her she looked back at the window for confirmation from the cashier that rang me up. No apology given....if I didn't have friends working here it would get 1 star. The north store is much cleaner and never have I ever been treated so poorly at any establishment!
Poor arrogant customer service. When something went wrong the store was called to fix the issue. The shift manager called us liars on the phone, only to find out that there was an issue and it was on the stores fault. By the way he careful they like to run there mouths about customer after they leave the store.
I like the South Jefferson store...it's smaller and I know just where everything is. The employees are friendly and helpful. They usually have great sales especially for holidays. The meat and produce is fresh and tasty.
Friendly staff, only downside is they don't have a large selection of things but it's a small and convenient store which makes up for the small selection.
Everyone is very helpful. The store is always tidy. The only thing that could be better is the bathrooms. Maybe a facelift would do them some good, they just look so dingy.
They are so welcoming! It is very much a hometown grocery store. It is very clean and organized. The store is easy to maneuver around, and get the things I need.
